Kitchen fire is one of the significant fire risk for a building. A well designed kitchen hood suppression system can extinguish the fire as well as prevent escalation to exhaust ducts. This is specifically a must for kitchens handling cooking oils and fat frying. An annual cleaning of the ducts is required keep it clean. Frequency may be changed based on the extent of usage... A spread of fire and smoke can ruin the business or stall it for days. But still an investment on this is considered as an impact on profit by many.
