🌟Let me reintroduce myself to the world at 20 years old ✨ Climate Champions- Race to Resilience youth fellow Reflecting on the words of Paul Watson, I find purpose in doing what's morally right. My journey began in the humblest of settings—a small wooden house in the poorest community of the Kalinago territory. Surrounded by nature, I cultivated a deep love for gardening alongside my parents. From being an unknown village boy, I've evolved into a Mentor, role model, speaker, and passionate Climate Advocate. Among my proudest achievements is creating History by becoming the youngest and first indigenous youth to join the esteemed Climate Champions Team (CCT) as a Race to Resilience youth fellow- where we support the UN Climate Change High-Level Champions to drive real world momentum in Global Climate Action. We do this by mobilising climate action amongst non-state actors (companies, cities, regions, financial, educational and healthcare institutions) to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement, in close collaboration with the UNFCCC, the Marrakech Partnership and the COP Presidencies. This journey isn't just about personal milestones; it's a testament to the resilience, passion, and dedication of my community towards our planet. The support of my mentors, teachers, family, former Kalinago leaders, and community members has been invaluable. Together, we are committed to safeguarding our planet for future generations—a task that truly exemplifies the adage 'it takes a village.'
