When working at a remote site as a Emergency Care Worker, it is your Responsibility to make sure that you are of sound mind and Fit for work because there are more Hazards than you see when working in a primary setup. Being Sober does not only mean you came to work under the influence of alcohol or Narcotics. You may have had a few drinks the night before and Thought you have slept it off. Alcohol can take up to 36 hours before it can be flushed out of your system depending on a few factors. Always make sure that you are in a capacity to perform your tasks in a Safe manner.
