Inspiration Parent Quote 7 "By loving them for more than their abilities, we show our children that they are much more than the sum of their accomplishments." - Vicki Cobb Not every child will excel at the highest level, but that doesn't diminish their worth as individuals. Each child possesses a unique gift; avoid penalizing them due to your limited perspectives. Unconditional love for your child means supporting them even during imperfect times. Embrace them for who they are and identify opportunities to guide them through challenges. Children have the capacity to grow in various aspects; they are not restricted and should not be deemed hopeless. Giving up on your children means forfeiting your own potential. Seek external assistance if needed; it's okay not to handle everything alone. Remember, guidance is just a phone call away. Focus on aiding your child in becoming the best version of themselves; it's about their development, not just yours. I love YOU Dan Wuori, for sharing these enlightening videos that prove how brilliant the newborns, infants, and toddlers are. And remind us that they are learning something every minute. Even when they are asleep. Because their entire being is alive to absorb the vibrations of their environment. Joyful? They will more than likely be joyful if met with safety, stability, consistent nurture. Fussy? There is something they need and their brains and nervous systems are more likely to be trusting and peaceful if met with consistent love and nurture when they need comfort, stimulation, food, hydration, security, a dry diaper, whatever. We teach them to trust or fear. To be curious and relational or to shut down and isolate. And the wild thing is? They learn so much of this — and their brains are developing so rapidly in the first two months — before most people have a clue that they are truly wiring a little human for trust or fear. Relationship or isolation. Curiosity or fear of what is new and novel. We must invest in parents, caregivers, pregnant women, new moms, new families to make moments such as these you share possible for families. For the mom who has to go back to work two weeks after having a baby, leaving the baby in substandard childcare? For the dad who works two jobs and barely has time to brush his teeth teeth much less play with his new baby? For the caregiver who is understaffed and overwhelmed and underpaid? Having moments such as these you share can be almost impossible. And yet they are among THE most important moments in the life of a newborn, an infant, a toddler. How to make this known? You’re doing it with these beautiful videos, Dan. And the more we can amplify your message of the importance of these relationships, this learning, these opportunities? We all need to celebrate the mamas and the babies and the families with newborns and infants. Make their path easier. It will pay off with happier, healthier children who can fulfill their full potential. It seems like such a small thing, those moments of connection. They are THE big things. Deborah McNelis. I love YOU. 💕 Check out this heartwarming back and forth between mother and daughter. It contains only 3 words, but they pack a lot of meaning. If you listen carefully you’ll note that baby changes her inflection each time she speaks the word YOU to add special emphasis. She isn’t simply mimicking her mom’s sounds. She knows just what she’s saying - and, importantly - who she’s saying it to. It’s a game every parent waits to play. What a fantastic moment. This lovely dialogue was posted to IG by mrs_leish. #earlychildhood #earlyyears #eyfs #parenting

Before anything else, put yourself first. Most of us think that parenthood is about selflessness. About giving your all to your children and family. We’re forgetting something crucial: Self-care is a must! And it’s one of the most loving and generous things you can do for your child. Loving yourself doesn’t mean you’re loving your child less. It helps you grow as an individual and become a stronger parent. There are no perfect parents, but we can be the best parents we can be, especially when we practice self-care. #HappyWithBaby #parenthood #parenting #newparents #love #selfcare

Remember that every parent-child relationship is unique, and what works for one family may not work for another. It's essential to trust your instincts and have confidence in your decisions. Always prioritize the well-being and happiness of your family members. Your love, care, and dedication will guide you in making the best choices for your loved ones. Embrace the journey of parenthood with an open heart and a positive mindset, knowing that you are doing your best to create a nurturing and loving environment for your family. Follow us for more parenting content 🧡 This just goes without explanation in our opinion, but if you need one, here it is— If you aren’t showing up, you aren’t a priority. That doesn’t mean if you physically can’t be here we are cutting you out—it means there are many ways to show up and if you can’t find a way to show up, we aren’t going to force our son to know you. Therefore, if he doesn’t know you when he rarely sees you, you have no right to be offended when we don’t force him to interact with you. 🤷🏽♀️ He is a human, not a pawn in a game. We want him to understand and respect boundaries that we make, but also encourage him to make his own. Something that we both weren’t good at as children and all the way into early adulthood. But now we understand how truly important they are in protecting your peace. We know we aren’t perfect, far from it—but we are doing our best to raise an emotionally aware and intelligent child 🫶🏽 And sometimes that means creating and upholding boundaries 🙌🏽 #parenting #showingup #boundaries #emotionalintelligence #family #respect #priorities #childhood #healthyrelationships #peacefulparenting

Inspirational Parent Quote 9 "Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you." - Robert Fulghum Children observe your actions and may disregard your words if you fail to set a positive example. Strive to embody the qualities you wish to instill in others. Minimize the disparity between your words and deeds. Be the role model that inspires both your children and yourself. Keep in mind that actions speak louder than words; it's essential to lead by example, as empty words only lead to wasted time and disengagement from those around you.
