Last year’s Wealth Architects University left us inspired and deeply grateful. It was truly remarkable to witness the connection and candor among those who attended as they worked together during the workshop to design their wealthier lives. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Darci Williams, Wayfinding Executive Coach, for her incredible leadership and energy to lead our day together. We also want to extend our gratitude to our amazing community of clients, professional advisors, and broader community who made the day so impactful. Next Gens in family businesses have it rough. There is an (often unspoken) expectation that they will one day take over their family's business in some capacity, and they need to prepare for that. At the same time, they are likely trying to figure out how their interests and passions align with the work that the business does and their role inside that business. Oh, and did I mention that they often report directly to one of their parents? For folks in this position, an event like Prairie Family Business Association's Next Gen Retreat is so critical. Where else can they connect in-person with that many people who "get it"—who know what it's like to be in their shoes? While our team prides ourselves on the value of the content at our Next Gen Retreats—for many of the next gens in attendance—the connections they make with their peers while there are far more valuable than any presenter or breakout room could ever be. Do you know someone who is trying to "write the sequel" to their family's business success story? If so, they need to be at this year's event. They won't have another opportunity to connect with this many next gens again until 2026. #PFBA #FamilyBusiness #FamilyOwned #SuccessionPlanning #NextGeneration #NextGen #FamilyDynamics #FamilyLegacy #BusinessTransition

The term client often implies a transactional relationship—one where an organization purchases goods or services in exchange for value delivered by a business. In this dynamic, the business focuses on meeting the client’s needs and fulfilling expectations. It’s important, fair, and necessary. ➡️ But what if there was something deeper? A partnership represents a more collaborative relationship. It’s where two organizations come together, aligned by a shared vision and common goals. Partnerships are built on mutual respect, a willingness to strategize collectively, and a focus on achieving shared success. They’re about growing together, creating value through collaboration, and treating every stakeholder with care and dignity. Especially the residents of the communities we serve together. Had a great time tonight presenting to the Forward Women’s Leadership Forum about Wealth, Estate & Legacy Planning. The best part was the dialogue after I finished and how candid participants were about not knowing how to approach family to address the topic of end of life and incapacity planning. It can be very difficult to do. And that’s why I set-up business and Wills On Wheels, Inc the way I did…making things as comfortable and accessible to the client as possible by going to them to complete estate plans. Sometimes you have to meet people where they’re at to be effective. That’s what we do. #OfficeWithoutWalls

Don had the privilege of participating in an offsite planning session with the leadership team at Renovia last month. The session centered on cultivating Intrinsic Impact—the idea that businesses can drive meaningful change in the world through the very nature of what they do and how they do it. The conversation highlighted that building intrinsic impact is a journey. It requires time: ▫ Time to shift from a charity-driven mindset to one rooted in impact through business practices. ▫ Time to challenge biases that limit curiosity and innovation. ▫ Time to uncover opportunities where the market signals the need for better solutions. We’re deeply grateful to Matthew Rolfsen and Renovia’s leadership for their unwavering commitment to aligning their professionalism with a passion for making a difference. We’re excited to see how their dedication to creating positive change continues to unfold in 2025. #CommercialContracting #CommercialPainting #SustainableBusiness #ESGStrategies #MidwestBusiness #BetterBusinessSolutions

Mythical or Material? Does the unicorn exist?? I've often referred to myself as a "recovering sales person." This wasn't intended as a slight to sales professionals, rather the way I'd been trained to sell. I've attended or led most every sales training program that exists throughout my career. Many of the programs taught how to manipulate, strong-arm and "sell" your way to sales closes, quotas and goals. We even learned to "modify the narrative" to "place the product." Please, don't get it twisted, there are some solid programs out there, I just never found success with those models. I simply felt frustration and embarrassment around my profession. I longed for sales training that led with integrity, recognized there can be more than one winner, and taught that different personality types can find consensus when you meet each other where you are. 57% of companies have the word "integrity" in their mission statement, so meaningful training has to exist, right? But I felt like I was seeking the Loch Ness Monster or hunting Big Foot. 🤔 Perhaps, I thought, I'll build a different type of sales training one day. I won't be building it...I joined the dream team instead. You may not have heard of Integrity Solutions before, but our clients sure have. Integrity Solutions works with F-500 companies (yes, you'd definitely know their logos) and more mid-market companies than I could name. Many of our clients have been with us for decades (again, yes, literally decades). Integrity Solutions has been changing the sales mindset of countless companies and millions of sales professionals since 1968. 🚀 I assure you, you'll see more of Integrity Solutions in the coming weeks, months and years. 🚀 I've appreciated the kind, congratulatory messages this week. Based upon my experience with Integrity Solutions thus far, I can say with confidence; "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!"
We are thrilled to announce that Brett Shively has joined the Integrity Solutions team as our new CEO! Mike Esterday, our stellar CEO for the past 13 years, will transition into the new role of Vice Chair, serving in advisory capacity to Brett and the firm’s Executive Leadership Team. Please join us in welcoming Brett to Team Integrity! #salestraining #salesperformance #integritymatters

Only 40% of family businesses successfully transition to the second generation and by the third? That number drops to just 13%. It’s not because these businesses lack passion or dedication; it’s because the shift requires careful planning, not just good intentions. Times change, and businesses need to evolve with them. But evolution doesn’t mean leaving behind what makes your business special—it’s about preserving your legacy while empowering the rising generation to take over. Our Rising Generation Leadership Coaching helps you put the right systems and procedures in place to ensure your family business continues to thrive into the second, third, and fourth generations. Let's make sure your family business isn't a statistic, but a legacy that lasts. 🔗https://zurl.co/X0fxl #positivelypeople #risinggenerationcoaching #leadershipcoaching #familybusinessconsulting
