Using a continuity index, the 464th CIES - Centre International d'Etude du Sport Football Observatory Weekly Post ranks nearly 800 clubs from 59 leagues in the world according to a Continuity Index Components:  - Squad Stability: Measured by the number of players fielded over the last three years.  - Age Structure: Percentage of minutes played by footballers aged 31 or over.  - Contract Policy: Proportion of minutes by players whose contracts expire by 31 December 2025. - Top Ranked Clubs:  - 1st: Arsenal  - 2nd: Aston Villa  - 3rd: Borussia Mönchengladbach  - 4th: Manchester City  - 5th: New York City FC (City Football Group) - Other Notable Clubs in the Top 10:  - Brentford FC (England)  - Union St-Gilloise (Belgium)  - Bayer Leverkusen (Germany)  - Rukh Lviv (Ukraine)  - Real Sociedad (Spain) - Teams with strong squad management policies are better prepared for sustained success. - Unsurprisingly, lower-ranked teams are from less competitive leagues and show underperformance. The analysis covers the differences observed between leagues, the evolution over time, as well as the characteristics of the players concerned.
