It seems so strange to me that most companies, in 2024, after years of amazing remote work, couldn't wait to go back to 4-5 days/week in the office. Do they expect better results? Happier employees? Lower salaries? In my experience that's NOT the case. They just don't trust people, they feel more in control, they want to justify having an expensive office. And the way they "sell" it? "Collaborative spirit", "Team work", "free office snacks", "unlimited office coffee" etc. If someone is happy with your company, the way you treat them, they way you appreciate them and the compensation and career progression, they will collaborate even with a time difference. They will work hard even if their kid is home sick. They will bring you the numbers you are looking for and even more even though they work from their couch or dining table. It's 2024, we should move forward! #remotework #hybridwork

We need to stop forcing employees back to an office just because. Remote work actually helps: - improve retention - boost productivity - increase engagement Many folks love being in the office.
