As many of the team head off on their holidays, it's been a jam packed week for team #sustainability at Sleek HQ, as we completed our stage 1 ISO the past couple of days. This has been a huge year for Sleek, following our evolution earlier in the year. We have surpassed many of our goals, and have finished the year with a wealth of creative projects under our belt. Our team has grown to 45 FTE's and we've made huge strides from a sustainability point of view. The below Sleek Events #2024 #reel sums it up perfectly, although I would love to share some of my personal Sleek highlights; 🌿Witnessing Sleek win some incredible new business the past couple of months from brands who all have sustainability at their core. 🌿Working on the pitch process for 4 RFPs from a sustainable point of view. 🌿Having a proud career moment watching Selina Donald from The Bulb (Part of Trivandi Group) present our sustainability strategy to the whole of #TeamSleek at our end of year company offsite in July. 🌿 Organising our Sleek training offsite as part of our sustainability bootcamp back in August, visiting the recycling plant for one of the venues we host our biggest annual event. 🌿Joining a panel Q&A at Reset Connect on the recommended next steps after implementing a sustainability strategy. 🌿 Measuring the emissions of 4 events, with even more in the pipeline for 2025. 🌿Completing stage 1 ISO audits for both ISO14001 and ISO20121 in record time. 🌿Implementing a phase one supplier audit to better identify where our supply chain is on their own sustainable journey. I'm going to use this festive 🎄 season to reflect on all the progress i've made this year and catch up on some well earned rest. 2025 is expected to be even bigger and better than 2024, and we'll be kicking off the year with our stage 2 ISO audits. If I have had the pleasure of working alongside you this year, whether from a supplier, sustainability or project basis. I want to say thank you! One thing is clear after this year is that the climate crisis is an everyone issue. We can't make progress without the whole team onboard, without our supply chain, or our partners and clients. What a Year 2024 Has Been! As we close 2024, I’m reflecting on the incredible milestones and moments of gratitude this year has brought: Professional Highlights: 1. Growth & Vision: Thank you, Aldrich Capital Partners for believing in SpinSci’s potential. Excited for the journey ahead! Thanks Mirza Baig and Max Funke 2. Leadership Transition: Grateful to Andy Asava for stepping into the CEO role, allowing me to focus on innovation. 3. Sales & Product Success: Kudos to our sales leadership (Ashvin Asava and team) for achieving unprecedented growth and a huge thank you to our product/delivery teams for launching the Operators Console solution and Patient Financial Services solution in under three months. 4. Customer Partnerships: Thank you to our customers for trusting us and collaborating to create meaningful, impactful Value Base Care solutions. 5. Ecosystem Excellence: Thank you and my deep appreciation to our CCaaS, EHR, and SI/Value Add partners for joining us in delivering excellence to our customers. 6. SpinSci Family: Every one of you is a hero—thank you for your passion, dedication and relentless persuit to push the boundary. Personal Highlights: 1. Keiko’s Retirement: After 18 years of building SpinSci together, my rock/my better half, Keiko, begins a well-deserved retirement but knowing her she is already on to her next adventure. 2. Proud Dad Moments: - Jay: Watching my son’s short film win Best Short Movie in the High School category at the Raleigh Film Festival and Billy the Kid Film Festival was a moment of immense pride. - Sachi: My daughter was recognized as an honor student for back-to-back semesters—a true testament to her dedication. - Neel: Watching my teenage son transform, not just in basketball but also in his discipline on and off the court, has been inspiring. 3. Health and Fitness: This year was a turning point for me leading a healthy lifestyle. From daily HIIT training to competing in cross-gym challenges…. I never thought that was possible. Looking Ahead to 2025: I’m excited for the opportunities ahead for all of us. I will continue to focus on mentorship, leadership, and promoting healthy living. Let’s make 2025 extraordinary together.
