Most people take time off from their job to relax. I take time off to give back to Heart of America Council, BSA at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Olsson allows me to take “Volunteer Time Off” to serve in my capacities as a servant leader in the Boy Scouts. Last weekend I helped maintain the beauty of our camp and led the inaugural cohort of the Micosay Leadership Accelerator Program on their tour around the reservation. The Cohort was able to see a new side of camp and network with many of Kansas City’s best business leaders to enrich their professional development, leadership experience, and service opportunities.
