I write/shoot videos almost on a daily basis.. Its been 3 years since I started delivering content on a daily basis - AND, the first 2 years I didn't make a rupee out of the content. It felt almost like a waste of time. I did think about quitting about the startup world and content creation multiple times. But, the messages and comments that I read now - show the value of the work I was putting in over the last few years:) You don't need to do something radically different. You just need to do a thoughtful thing for a long enough time. Results will come! **** If you are interested in improving your Problem Solving skill in a slow but effective way - join us. We give personalized feedback. Link: https://lnkd.in/gXWJCxT4 (there is a problem statement on the platform for you to solve today).

I provide empowering resources to help business leaders and executives thrive during any economic condition, leading to strategic growth. Through proven marketing strategies and my empowering Think Tank Community.
ARE YOU MAKING THE IMPACT YOU WANT AS A COACH OR GUIDE? A few years back I hosted a 21 Day Momentum challenge. 🏃♀️ We used the amazing micro-content app, Audvisor as a tool to spark ideas. One of the greatest take away items came from a member of BOSS Academy Community, based off of a talk he piece of content he listened to. And if you want help, I'll send you my free Action Over Analysis presentation to help you on your journey. Post "Action" below. Many of us are bombarded with content and information daily. 📅 We convince ourselves we're learning and growing. And in some ways we are. However, there are three statements that reality of that information overload: I hear, I forget; 🙉 I see, I remember; 🙈 I do, I understand. 🎬 And I'd argue that the more you do, the more you grow from that content. If you're a content poster, what are your followers gaining? You want views and likes. They want change and growth. I'd argue that you want your followers to take action. Right? So take action from this post. Start formulating a strategy that leads to action. Don't just inform, infuse them with your greatest actionable insights. Let's be the change the world needs as we contribute content. Thank you, Rajesh Setty for allowing me to be part of Audvisor. And thank you, Jim Miotke for this inspiration. That challenge was an amazing growth opportunity for all of us and this insight still resonates years later. #growth #success #paulkirch

When I became a professional storyteller, I never knew I had a certain, valuable skill. It's accelerator season in the startup world. Across the country, early-stage startup Founders are learning to build their businesses. They get access to some fantastic mentors. Some of them get to meet with me. 😁 My goal is to deliver value on every call. So, even on the introductory call, I go to work. I ask them a simple question..."What are you building?" Then I suspend judgment. I'm pretty good at it. I can listen to understand an idea without judging it. My job isn't to tell them whether their idea is 'good'. My job is to help them tell their idea well. The first time I hear their idea, there are gaps. I usually don't completely 'get it'. But, I've been fortunate to live a varied life: • I worked as a courier in a law firm • I worked in a late-night grocery warehouse • I was a fighter pilot • I negotiated with Russians • I have degree in computer science • I have a masters in International Relations • I left a PhD in the dissertation phase • I lived abroad for ~10 years • I've been a part of ~8 small businesses • I've consulted with 100s of Founders I have a big library of knowledge and experiences. So, I rarely hear something that's completely new. I'm able to connect their "thing" to something else. I'm able to see the consequences of their new thing. I'm able to specify the gaps in my understanding. I'm ok with saying "here's what I don't understand". By the end of a single call, their story is already better. They are more clear. They are more succinct. AND they understand their value better than before. You know what I don't do? I don't sell on those calls. I deliver. It's the long game, but so far it's been working out well. Do you have a skill you never knew you had? ------------------- I'm Dan. I'm a Storyteller. I apply the same skills in our Community + Course where I help Storybuilders share the stories we need to hear...for $35/month (until November 1st).

Science Communicator | Executive Presence Advocate | Coffee Connoisseur | I Help Businesses Translate Science into Impact
When your startup is making bold moves, your first thought might be to jump into the media and start making some noise - but that's the equivalent of running a marathon when you haven't even trained a day. As a founder, learning how to walk before you run spells ✨ success ✨ . So how do you know you're ready? 👉 1. You have a clear vision, mission, and narrative - and not just a "story". 👉 2. Your whole team can recite it from memory. 👉 3. You're realistic about giving your communications lead a budget. 👉 4. You realize it takes time (and feedback) to reap the benefits of an approach. If you're missing even one of these key things, you're missing it all. #publicrelations #mediarelations #communicationstrategy

Ever had a know-it-all unload their wisdom on you without asking? I've learned on my entrepreneurial journey that it's best to hold back advice until somebody actually wants it. Let me paint a picture for you: Imagine you're minding your business, trying to put together a catchy intro for potential investors. Instead of hearing 'Sure, I'm in.' or 'Sorry, can't help with that,' or even 'Got an idea for an intro.' you get hit with 'That's not how you should do it...' or 'You need a co-founder first.' Kinda feels like you've been sucker-punched, right? Especially when the advice-giver seems to think they're on some high horse. Shoutout to Alexander Yeremeev for sparking this thought and cheers to Eugene Kalinin too! Speaking of co-founders, I'm looking for one for taletogether.com. Are you a marketing whizz who's passionate about creating products and improving parent-kid relationships? Get in touch! I've already used my open-sourced YC plugin to sift through 300+ profiles, but I'm still on the hunt.
