🌊✨ Sometimes, LX Design feels a bit like Ralph Wiggum floating away - unexpected, but full of possibilities! In one hilarious episode of The Simpsons, Ralph befriends a jellyfish but is soon stung by it and has him floating away. As he drifts along, Ralphie radically accepts the situation and declares.. “I’m going to go to Africa, to see lions, and giraffes, and monkeys, and Santa Claus, and monkeys..” Radical Acceptance is embracing situations immediately as they are, even when they don’t align with our expectations. As LX designers we can embrace the chaos of learning environments, the sting of unexpected challenges, and our own quirky ideas that might just lead to innovation. Like Ralph, we may not control where the tide takes us, but we can enjoy the ride and learn something along the way.
