Hello LinkedIn! I am a current doctoral student at Queens College & The Graduate Center, CUNY. I am surveying BCBAs, other mental health professionals who work with children with ASD (i.e., psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors), and parents of children with ASD on their perceptions of the performance-based IISCA in relation to principles of trauma-informed care. The survey should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. Respondents will watch two short background videos on functional analyses and trauma informed care and be shown 1 de-identified assessment video. Following the assessment video, they will complete a rating scale to assess the extent to which they find the assessment to incorporate principles of trauma-informed care. Respondents will also be given an option to watch up to 2 additional videos and complete surveys for each if they wish. There is no compensation for participation; however, I hope the information gathered here will aid in further development of trauma-informed assessment procedures of problem behavior. Here is the link: https://lnkd.in/etfZUwvr Thank you!

CEO & Co-Founder @ Gigi Supplements Ltd | Female Health Nutritional Therapist | IT 50 People to Watch in 2024 | Making symptom-free menstrual cycles the norm 🌊
Whenever primary research is being conducted on female health, it deserves our attention. Recent statistics suggest that only 2% of medical research funding is spent on pregnancy, childbirth, and female reproductive health. This is despite 1 in 3 women reporting a reproductive or gynaecological health problem. Women have been historically under-represented in medical research, such as clinical trials which has resulted in many female health related topics being very poorly understood. It takes a long time to recover from the gaps in this evidence base that have resulted from exclusion, so every piece of research is important 🙌🏼 Ladies, take 5 minutes to complete this survey for the wonderful Annie O'Connor research! #femalehealth #femtech
Do you suffer from pain during your period? Women's health, in particular the menstrual cycle, has been neglected in research for far too long. This is especially true in Ireland. For my Psychology Thesis I am conducting research that explores Dysmenorrhea (pain before or during menstruation) and its relationship to Occupational Burnout and Health Related Quality of Life. There are so many people that experience pain due to their menstrual cycle. I want to understand more about how and if this pain affects peoples lives. This knowledge is key to providing the right support for those who need it. If you suffer pain due to menstruation and work in Ireland I would be so grateful if you could take part in my research. It will take approximately ten minutes. https://lnkd.in/ezu55W4g

Supporting the growth and development of our children is a common goal, but it can be challenging when we're unsure of the best ways to help them. At KT Healthcare, we understand that every child experiences the world differently, and some may have unique needs requiring extra assistance as they mature. Identifying these needs through an assessment is crucial. By assessing the possibility of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in your child, you can: 1. Gain Peace of Mind: Regardless of the outcome, having more information can bring solace. 2. Acquire Knowledge: Understand your child's specific needs better. 3. Receive Advice: Get practical guidance on supporting your child effectively. 4. Access Support: Connect with a range of resources for further assistance. Our team of clinical professionals will guide you through the assessment process, explaining its implications for you and your child. We'll offer practical advice on the next steps and how to continue supporting your child's development and growth effectively. Our autism assessments are available nationwide and are carried out face to face in a clinic or similar setting, to find out more about booking an assessment, simply fill out the form below and a member of the team will be in touch: https://lnkd.in/eDiHBpy8 #autsm #asd #autisticawareness #healthcare #autistic
