In the Fall of 1987, I had the pleasure of first meeting Purdue University Head #Basketball coach and great #Leader, Gene Keady. He spoke to our fraternity house brothers about life #values, and the importance of doing your very best. It was when I was introduced to his toughness, play hard, and #hustle mentality. This great coach and leader has been a tremendous role model to so many, and a great ambassador to the university. 37 years later, it was #Keady that was a #RockStar at the sold out Deer Creek music center, as he attended Darius Rucker and Hootie and the Blowfish among 24,000 strong. At 88 years young, Keady quipped that I had more hair than when I was attending classes. A Boilermaker salute to a living legend. #Boiler-up.
