I really don’t understand the direction with Webflow e-commerce. You appear to have completely abandoned e-commerce by not allowing any of the new optional subscriptions that were released last year (analytics, etc.) to work with it, yet this gets released.
So this pretty much further eliminates the need for Webflow e-commerce plans? Don’t know how to feel about this, I really wish you put a fraction of the efforts you put into your Enterprise focus into e-commerce and small business. I find it dreadful to have to shuffle between Shopify-Webflow-WordPress… for the e-commerce. This new Stripe integration is cool, but I don’t see myself implementing this into any website that has over 10-20 products as it would be just terrible to shuffle through so many different dashboards to manage the products. Here’s to hoping.
Hm… now makes me wondering. What about e-commerce then? Or will it work only on e-commerce plans or is it a direct way for setting up payment links even on regular CMS sites? Or maybe I’m missing something? (Didn’t read the post yet 😅)
This is a game-changer for Webflow eCommerce! Excited to see how this simplifies payments. 🔥👏
Paul Gray this is great! We've done a few microsites recently using Shopify for e-commerce (& checkout) and Webflow for the website. Multiple times, we thought Stripe would be ideal and more compliant instead, but we did not quite have what we needed. If Stripe can find a way to bring Checkout to Webflow 😍 Edit: just seen in the screenshot that Ecommerce (checkout) is coming soon 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great, but I would have liked you to work on digital e-commerce as well. So we could do both. There are digital and physical products that I would like to sell on Webflow. This would prevent me from using Payhip. Especially the ability to create subscriptions natively without going through Memberstack by adding to the CMS plan (preferably without increasing prices, because the price is already high enough). I want Webflow to be able to offer us more possibilities without having to spend extra money elsewhere, which could become expensive. Especially since you are already expensive, so please think about it ! 😉 🙏🏽
Looks like Webflow just made e-commerce even easier! 🚀 The new Stripe App integration is a game changer for businesses looking to offer secure, seamless checkout experiences without compromising on design. Excited to explore how this can elevate my Webflow projects! 💻💳
You can already add payment links super easy. But adding Stripe Checkout and shopping cart . That’s next level. Can’t wait until that is released.
