💡 After a decade in influencer marketing, selling out products, deploying millions in influencer marketing budget and managing multiple 7-figure earning creators, here are my hottest takes 🌶️ (You'll want to save this, trust me) • Watch time is everything. • Consistency always wins. • Business hours don’t exist. • Psychographics > demographics. • Data lies, the comments section doesn’t. • Humour travels far, outrage travels further. • Campaign timelines are merely a suggestion. • If it’s not in writing it didn’t happen. Keep receipts. • YouTubers will give you the most consistent views. • A great campaign can’t make up for a crap product. • Creators who speak on camera have higher conversion rates. • Social media doesn’t speak corporate be unhinged and jargonless. • Long-term collabs > one and dones (once the creator proves themselves). • Facebook groups: forever the most underrated opportunity for conversion-orientated campaigns. • Payment terms usually aren’t worth the paper they’re written on - expect to talk to a few liquidators. • The best influencers are relatable AND aspirational. Their audience isn’t just saying “I like them” they’re saying “I want to be like them” or “I want them to like me” And finally: Most influencers and their managers give 0 f*cks about the brand client’s business objectives. Cherish the ones that do. Which one's new to you? #InfluencerMarketing #SocialMedia
