I just listed a domain for sale that I registered in 2019. For a business idea that never materialized. Wait for it... It was... tenantelope.com Yep. Like 🦌🐐🦌🐐🦌🐐🦌🐐🦌🐐 But more like antelope. 10 of them. It was a play on words, because it also spelled "tenant elope"... 🤯😁 Because if a Landlord/Tenant relationship is anything like a marriage, why does there have to be an elaborate wedding? Sometimes the tenant is looking for a quicker path to the altar - you know - just elope... Ok, maybe the idea wasn't ready or perhaps I went down too many rabbit holes trying to capitalize on the play on words. But being a tenant can be intimidating and being a landlord can be tricky. Does the wedding day need to be such a big event? Hmm. I'll let you ponder as the domain awaits its new home... Meanwhile, have you ever had a business idea that needed to sit for awhile? Uncertainty 11 This whole time we waited with baited breath for each and every hostage to come back alive. This week was not the start of the school year we hoped for. But we're suppose to be on vacation and I'm supposed to write about marital advice I've learned over 20 years. We're up in the middle of Romania travelling north to Transylvania. Looking at history through buildings and mountains as high as 2500 ft. Listening to our tour guide weave through stories both real and fairytale. The quote of the day by our tour guide. "Real history is far scarier than any made up movie." Lesson learned today How can anyone post today without mentioning the hostages. The anguish from that uncertainty for an extended period of time ... That's the hope a marriage gives. That foundation of safety, support and certainty, can help you through almost any situation.
