●●●For the new President and CEO of the PGA of America●●● Allow the constituency to elect the executive board to enhance democratic engagement and accountability. It empowers individual PGA of America Members by giving them a direct voice in leadership decisions, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility within the community. This approach will lead to more representative and responsive governance, as the elected members would be closely attuned to the needs and aspirations of those they serve. Plus, it will inspire greater Member involvement and strengthen the bond between the leadership and the Members. The PGA of America President, Vice President and Secretary are in control of hundreds of millions of dollars in assets and cash. They've made some extremely irresponsible moves over the past 50 years. It's time for a change to the Bylaws. Giving individual PGA of America Members the ability to elect the PGA of America President, Vice President, and Secretary can easily be done today through electronic voting.
