CEO Rowan Crozier MBE told the 61-strong workforce and high-profile guests that the accolade had helped them secure more than £1.2m of new orders, including its first 4- module progression tool, a first tooling design advisory contract and a first scalable e-motor lamination stack bonding tool – the latter ideal for exploiting electrification. As the 150th Kentucky Derby quickly approaches, how do you plan to celebrate the Run for the Roses 🐎 🌹 without putting your recovery, or the recovery of a loved on, at risk? Here are a few tips ⬇️ 1. Plan ahead. 2. Avoid being alone. 3. Spend quality time with a group of sober friends. 4. Host your own Derby party. 5. Get crafty and enjoy a Derby mocktail. 6. Make short appearances and drive yourself. 7. Keep it simple and don’t stress too much about what everyone else is doing.

Your actions matters

In business, you always need a great plan, but must also be prepared to pivot: The Sting (1974 Oscar Winner) Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) plays a small-time con on the wrong guy.  The mob is after him.  He enrolls Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman), a professional at the long con, to pull a scheme on Chicago’s toughest mobster (Doyle Linneman…I mean Lonnegan).  Their plan seems flawless.  Past-posted races where they know the winners already. With the local police & the mob chasing Hooker and the FBI chasing Gondorff, they make constant adjustments to make sure the con is pulled without the mob even knowing. The lesson here is to make a great plan and stick to it, but be watching for spots to pivot to take advantage of opportunities you are given. “You follow?”
