My latest research finalized! The title of my manuscript is, "Introduction of Non-Nestmate Honeybees to an Observational Hive Decreases Frequency of Waggle Dances". In the paper, I use behavioral observation skills, statistical analysis techniques in Excel, and data visualization in Tableau. Thank you to my professors, Dr. Hong Lei, Dr. Cahit Ozturk, and to our awesome TA, Shawn Mahoney! I'm appreciative of my classmates who provided review of my draft as well. One of the things I appreciate most about my current studies is the opportunity to delve deep into relevant topics affecting my community. Even better, I get to learn from the perspectives of my extremely talented peers and mentors along the way. Last semester, Joshua (Hyochan) Lee, Iana Lanceta, Amrit Pattanaik, and I tackled the issue of digital disinformation (focusing on generative artificial intelligence) in U.S. election spaces. I'm really happy to share the policy brief that resulted from our efforts, published in the 'Student Working Paper' series with Hertie's Centre for Digital Governance.
