🔐🌟Unsupportive partners can be the be all and end all of achieving your goals 💔💪 When you start to make quite big changes to your habits and lifestyle this can come as a shock and automatically, their mind will jump to conclusions. This is because don’t understand how important it is to you. Make sure you do the following to ensure they are on board from the get go; 1 - actually tell them about it before you start. You would be surprised how many people I’ve worked with that don’t tell their partners about signing up for some personal training, you are going to need to probably change a a lot of your habits and elements of your lifestyle, so this will have some effect on them. 2 - Explain the importance and the bigger picture. This is so they understand WHY you are doing it, once you explain the grander vision they will see that it is a priority for you. Make sure you explain how they fit into the bigger picture and how it will benefit you both. 3 - ask for their support! If they care about you they are more than likely going to help you, so sit down and have the conversation and set yourself up for success. 🚀💑 Don't let lack of support hinder your journey. I committed a rookie mistake yesterday. I’m attending a conference where a large number of military folks are present. Seeking to work on my health, I headed to the hotel gym at 5:30 am. PACKED,….the place had folks on every machine, lifting every weight, no room to stretch. So, I left, grabbed a cup of coffee, and returned to the room to triage emails. Although I am advocating that you prioritize your health, it is less significant when you do so. After attending the first few sessions, I traded my networking lunch for a workout. As it turns out, no one was in the gym at lunchtime. Access and diligence are The most significant hurdles in our fitness journey; when it is full, come back later, run, adjust the plan, and succeed. Life rarely follows our plan or design; be flexible and run with the opportunities. Start today, no matter your age or stage in life. The truth is, when I conceputalize a new type of Something Major event, I have NO idea how it’s going to land and I’m VERY nervous about it. What I’ve learned is to trust my gut and get curious. This is an event (one of many events) that started with a bunch of “what if” questions…. 💡What if…. I could combine a workshop and networking with a barre3 workout? 💡 What if… I could take the best of what people love about retreats — meaty content, networking, and wellness activities — and offer it at a fraction of the cost and time commitment? The answer was our first SWEAT & RESET — a “Reimagining Productivity” workshop, paired with a workout and I’m REALLY excited about it. Clear goals are essential for success, even if they include a purple helicopter and dancing on Strictly with Gleb! 💃🚁 I was reminded about this last week when I was interviewed. The question was: "What is the big goal then? Are you selling JUNE MEDICAL?" I ALWAYS say "I am not selling, but IF I do, I want 250M, a purple helicopter, and to dance on Strictly (with Gleb Sevchenko) at least until I make it to Blackpool". Unrealistic? Sure. But fun and aspirational! :) But seriously, setting clear and realistic goals is crucial. Prioritizing health and wellness, cultivating positive habits, and investing in continuous learning and personal growth are also key. Remembering to communicate effectively and ask for help when needed. And...the ultimate goal: Let's all reach out and help pull others forward when we find ourselves in a position to help. 💜 #success #goals #health #wellness #growth #communication #support
