World Mental Health Day is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy.
Schools are taking part in 'Hello Yellow' in support of Young Minds. Kids are being encouraged to wear something yellow a colour associated with happiness, optimism and joy.
Are we not forgetting it is also the colour of our primordial SUN which powers our biology. Ignites our mitochondria which in turn supports our mental well-being.
According to ONS:
There were 6,069 suicides registered in England and Wales in 2023
The age-specific suicide rate was highest for males aged 45 to 49 years and for females aged 50 to 54 years.
In the UK, over 8 million people are experiencing an anxiety disorder at any one time (Mental Health UK)
