Are you applying to dietetic internships for Spring Match? Here are 5 things to look for in a DI Program! 1. Staff Support. It's important to know there is someone in your corner. Is there a DI advisor, alumni mentor, or team member you can reach out to for help, support, and advice during the internship? 2. Concentration or Elective Rotations. It's advantageous if you are able to gain experience in areas of dietetics you're most interested in. If the program offers concentrations, do any of them align with your future career goals? Or do you have the opportunity to select your rotation sites or an elective rotation? 3. Combined Masters-DI Options. It's great to have options. For those who need a master's degree, is your program affiliated with any graduate programs? Or can you complete your degree with the school of your choice? 4. Flexibility. It's crucial to find a program that fits with your lifestyle. Does the program allow part-time options? Is relocation required? 5. RDN Exam Prep. It's a bonus if your program helps you prepare for the RDN exam. Do they provide any study materials, tutoring, webinars or classes? Wellness Workdays DI offers all of these and more! 📣 Exciting news 📣 We are thrilled to offer more flexibility with our graduate degree program options. We are now able to accept future interns who would like to complete a graduate degree at a program of their choosing while also doing our internship program. To qualify for this track option, you'll need to gain acceptance into a graduate program and successfully complete 1 semester with a 3.0 or better prior to the start of orientation. Remember, we are a full-time internship program, so your graduate degree program still needs to be flexible and online. We're excited to offer this option to those who have a specific graduate degree program in mind, but also want to do our business dietetic internship. We'll also continue our partnerships & streamlined application process with our two fabulous grad partners. If you're interested in our program and still want to be considered for an August 2024 start, drop us a line to chat options. #rd2b #rd2be #dieteticinternship #dieteticintern #dieteticsstudent #futurerd #futuredietitian #nutritionstudent #dietetics #dietitianapproved #registereddietitians #nutritionmajor #dietitiantobe

Your online fitness coach | Nutritionist and dietitian👩🏻⚕️ I will TRANSFORM you 👉 HEALTHIEST version of yourself ✅ DM for consultation
It's time to end unpaid internships for dietitians😑☝️ It's very disheartening to see that nutritionist spend months working in hospitals but, in return, they don't get paid for their work. Mtlab paise bhi me dun aur kam bhi me karun?? Unlike fields such as engineering or business, where interns are typically paid for their work, nutritionists often face the challenge of gaining experience without financial compensation. This creates an unfair barrier for those who can't afford to work for free. I request the higher authorities to stop this injustice 🙏 _________________________________ Also I request all #dietitians and #nutritionists to #repost it more and more to spread awareness , if they feel it relatable -------------------------------- P.S: What do you think about it?? Do you paid for internship?? Thanks Regards, Mehwish Ishtiaq

"Unpaid internships for Dietetics students are detrimental to the field's growth. Dietetics hold the potential to heal and prevent various health conditions, making it a threat to certain industries. However, exploiting interns is not a sustainable solution. Let's advocate for fair opportunities and support the invaluable work of Dietitians. 💪 Choosing unpaid internships in Dietetics undermines the future of healthcare. Dietitians have the power to revolutionize public health, posing a challenge to traditional industries. But exploiting interns is a short-sighted approach. It's time to stand against unfair practices and champion the cause of Dietitians. 🌱 #SupportDietitians #HealthcareRevolution #FairOpportunities #EndExploitation"
