Personalized Ice: Your Type For Every Occasion! Ice is the hero for every drink you consume. The proper dilution, perfect consistency, and the chill of having it that way comes from this wondrous ingredient. However, like not every drink is suitable for a specific mood, only some ice cubes are meant universally for every drink. Today, in this read, we will know all you need to understand about personalized ice, its variety, and its suitability. Variety of Personalized Ice There are various variants of personalized ice. There is a thrill in consuming something we create on our own, just for ourselves, isn’t it? Let’s check out the most popular variants of personalized ice below: a. Customized Cocktail Ice: The name speaks for itself. Cocktail Ice is mainly a large, solid mass of clear ice that may be customized to cuboids, spheres, collins, as suited to the beverage and shape of the glass.. Due to its ability to last longer, cocktail ice is often said to be a better choice than quick-to-melt regular ice. We at Ice Please! bring you home to three variants of ice: True Cubes and Pillar Ice and Moon balls in different sizes. b. Infused Ice: An innovative ice type of all time, infused ice is often crafted by freezing different garnishes directly into clear ice, from flowers to fruits and herbs, or other decorative extracts, to give a different yet unique look to the drink as a whole. These days, everyone needs a different twist on their cocktails. Infused ice with edible substances is used in weddings, house parties, private gatherings, corporate events, bars, etc., to enrich the aesthetics of the beverages and make the occasions gram-worthy. c. Logo Ice: Do you love it when there is personalization to your favorite things? If yes, then the logo or stamped ice from Ice Please! is meant for you. It is made using personalized stamps with quality and care. It is crafted by selecting a particular design or monogram of your choice and pressing it on the ice cube with a quick press of skill and precision to transform your ice into a great conversation point for parties. Benefits of using customized ice a. Value: Using ice that can be customized according to your client/guest's needs, helps improve the overall experience around the beverage, and also helps you command a premium. b. Appreciation: There is a different respect for talent that exceeds expectations and quality standards. It becomes a great conversation-starter for every occasion and something to remember and share with your guests. c. Loyalty: There is an old saying, ‘You have what I need with no compromises; I am not going ever.’ If you deliver quality and precision, your clients and customers will stay loyal to you for as long as you function. d. Aesthetics: They say, 'A picture is worth a thousand words,’ and we believe it’s worth even more. Personalized ice adds a new and pleasant look to the aesthetics of your drink, be it a cocktail, mocktail, or glass with whiskey.

🍸 RTD Cocktails: Assessing the Longevity of Premium Cocktail Machines Bartesian - Heard of them? I hadn’t… came across this while scrolling Tiktok - what seems to be an epicentre of where cultural viral trends are born. 🔔 A premium cocktail machine that serves up Ready-to-Drink cocktails at the touch of a button. A novelty of a fad? With estimated revenues of $100m in 2022 - profitable - it would suggest it’s a mainstay. But is it filling a genuine gap in the market, or is it just a temporary trend? 1️⃣ Convenience Meets Craftsmanship: The Bartesian offers a blend of convenience and quality, appealing to consumers who want a craft cocktail experience without the complexity of mixing drinks themselves. 2️⃣ Customisation is Key: With the ability to tailor the strength and style of cocktails, machines like the Bartesian cater to individual preferences, a feature that could sustain its relevance. 3️⃣ At-Home Entertainment Evolution: As home entertainment becomes increasingly sophisticated, the Bartesian fits into the "homebody economy," suggesting potential for long-term integration into household leisure. 4️⃣ Technology and Innovation: The trend towards smart home devices may bolster the appeal. Bartesian’s innovative approach to drink-making could prove to be more than a fad. 5️⃣ Pandemic Impact: The shift towards "homebody economy," accelerated by the pandemic, may have created a more permanent market. 6️⃣ Sustainability Concerns: The brand's ability to address the environmental impact of capsules and packaging will be crucial in maintaining market position. 7️⃣ Cost Versus Experience: The premium price point of the Bartesian may limit its market to consumers. It would certainly ‘wow’ me at a dinner party. 8️⃣ Market Expansion Potential: The Bartesian and similar machines have potential for expansion into commercial settings, such as boutique hotels or office lounges, which could broaden their market presence. While the Bartesian capitalises on current trends of convenience, personalisation, and home entertainment, its longevity will depend on its adaptability to adapt to consumer demands. 💡Key question - who has a Bartesian machine? --- Enjoyed this? The Art of Crafting the Perfect Cherry Cocktail: Experience the Cherry Blossom Aperitif As spring ushers in its array of dazzling colors and warm sunshine, our palates too crave a refresh with flavors that echo the vibrancy of the season. At Experience by Terra, our owner Falko Siecke who is passionate about crafting delightful drinks has perfected just such a refreshment: the Cherry Blossom Aperitif. This cherry cocktail not only captivates with its vivid aesthetics but also delights the taste buds with its complex flavor profile. Here’s how you can bring this exquisite experience to your spring gatherings. What Makes a Cherry Cocktail Special? Cherry cocktails, like our Cherry Blossom Aperitif, offer a unique blend of sweet and tart notes that can elevate any celebration. The key to their charm lies in the quality of ingredients and the precision in their mixology. For our special cocktail, we draw inspiration from the centuries-old Cherry Blossom festivals of Japan, respecting and reflecting the tradition through every sip. Ingredients of the Cherry Blossom Aperitif To recreate this luxurious drink, you'll need: 4 cl Sakura Blossom Gin 2 cl Cherry Heering 2 cl freshly squeezed organic lemon juice 2 cl homemade low sugar cherry syrup 6 cl Perrier Water The use of Sakura Blossom Gin not only infuses a delicate floral undertone but also nods to the cherry blossoms that inspire this drink. Cherry Heering, a cherry liqueur, adds depth with its rich, fruity flavor, perfectly complementing the gin's subtlety. How to Mix Your Cherry Cocktail? Combine Ingredients: Except for the Perrier Water, pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake Well: Vigorously shake the mixture to blend well and chill the drink. Strain: Use a sieve to strain the cocktail into a chilled glass. Garnish: Decorate with edible flowers and perhaps a few cherry blossoms if available, to enhance the visual appeal. Can You Customize a Cherry Cocktail? Absolutely! For a twist on the traditional recipe, replace the lemon juice with Yuzu juice for a lighter, more citrusy flavor. If you're aiming for a more opulent finish, top the cocktail with Ruinart Champagne instead of Perrier Water. This substitution not only adds a luxurious effervescence but also complements the fruity flavors of the cocktail. When is the Best Time to Serve a Cherry Cocktail? The Cherry Blossom Aperitif is ideally served as a welcome drink at springtime gatherings, be it a casual brunch or a more formal evening event. Its refreshing nature makes it a perfect choice for both male and female guests, promising to be a delightful conversation starter.

The top 4 Sampling Secrets Driving a 300% Surge in Cocktail Craze… I ended and started my week in much the same way, in a sampling session. Friday was the fab Raincheck Bar in Bath, while Monday was the very cool Old Bell Hotel with Alexander Hall-Davis and team. Today was two gorgeous hotels all owned by the Kaleidoscope Hotels. All sampling sessions while different, had similarities. Here’s some thoughts on them (and other samplings), a peeling back the layers so to speak of our approach, our “secrets”… 🍹 Secret #1: Flavour “Remember the cake is the cake”, all the glitz around the edges are ok but don’t forget what’s actually important! A brand may help sell one bottle, but you’re at risk of missing the true life time value. We worked really hard to get our “cake” aka flavour just right (see my last post), using only natural ingredients, going through multiple rounds of sampling to hit the spot . The result? We have a flavour explosion that has everyone buzzing and coming back for seconds! 🍹 Secret #2: Presentation Matters Ah, the power of presentation! Every touchpoint counts, so when we did our very first sampling (a focus group) we made sure to showcase the liquid, but also the brand via vibrant POS, we even pitched up with a mock-up bar. Not only did our cocktails taste amazing, but we looked amazing too. The litmus test, we had attendees snapping photos and sharing their experiences on social media. Even picking up investor interest too! 🍹 Secret #3: Quality Ingredients You can’t have great flavour without it, nor can you look the part (unless you want to be like our nemesis the neon orange goliath). Quality ingredients make all the difference! We haven’t cut corners, in fact we’ve spent more making sure it’s at the level you would expect for a premium Spritz alternative by consciously adding premium bitters. Bar teams haven’t been able to get enough of the rich, complex flavours and have been eager to learn more. 🍹 Secret #4: The Power of Sampling Sampling is where the magic happens! There’s no alternative to it! By engaging directly with customers and providing them with a hands-on experience, we were able to generate buzz and excitement around our brand. From a standing start, we have a distributor, multiple venues onboard, and investor interest. We’ve got momentum, but we want more, and intend to do that through continuing the power of sampling… So there you have it—four sampling secrets that have helped us unlock the full potential of the Spritz sensation! And with cocktail consumption skyrocketing by 300% since 2019, there’s no denying the power of getting, cue industry phrase, “liquid on lips”! As always, drop a comment below to share your favourite Spritz secrets or tag a friend who needs to up their cocktail game! We’d love to sample with them and share all things Mogul Drinks. Would a majority of Indians splurge Rs 250 - Rs 300 on a cup of coffee? Or are there enough people who are interested in just the coffee and not the frills - big outlets, seating and working spaces, elaborate food menus and service? Abhijeet Anand of abCoffee, Chaitanya Chitta of SLAY Coffee and Vardhman Jain of BONOMI tell me what makes their affordable coffee brands work in India. Read here : https://lnkd.in/gmBWT3pY
The Indian coffee market is experiencing a transformation as brands like abCoffee and Slay Coffee introduce frill-free, affordable coffee options. What’s in a glass, you may ask? 🍸 As the art of mixology is evolving to include more contemporary styles and new-age serves, the glassware used is also undergoing a significant transformation. ❗️Glassware serves as a pivotal element in crafting drinking experiences, designed to enhance every facet of sensory enjoyment - from the initial scent to the final sip. Today, glassware experts are observing a reduction in the size of cocktail glasses; with more mixologists eager to experiment with new formats, Nick and Noras, lightweight Coupes, Julep cups, and Martini designs are some of the latest picks across Indian bars. ✨ While this trend takes root and sheds light on the emphasis on artistry and technique in crafting cocktails, certain traditional drinks continue to pay homage to their classic serves. ⬇️ Check out this great read to dive into what’s new in the glassware game: LiveMint | Jahnabee Borah #CocktailCulture #Liquor #Bar #Mixology #Bartending #India #AlcoBevIndustry #SpiritsIndia #SpiritsIndustry #Hoteliers #HospitalityIndustry #Glassology #Glassware
