Something a bit more creative from my latest portfolio piece! While it perhaps doesn't give true focus to the main assets, I was really happy to learn a new technique to create an engaging cinematic. I created a spline path blueprint for my Butterfly and a camera rigrail to follow the action as it leads into a focal shot of the main throne (Audio as before). Hello friends... this is my latest project on Unreal Engine 5.....In this work, I wanted to focus on the art of landscape creation in a more professional manner and how to handle it. I aimed to understand how to create landscapes by going through all the stages of its development. This allowed me to become more proficient in using various available tools and learn how to utilize them effectively to achieve better results in less time. In this postviz project, I worked on three separate sequences, each of which required tracking, professionally done by the team at CGF Studio, to generate individual cameras. Afterward, I combined these three cameras to create a seamless, dynamic fly-through of a fantastical environment envisioned by the filmmakers of The Master and Margarita. The final result, after animating, FX, rendering, and compositing by my colleagues, showcases a visually stunning journey through this fantasy space. This is the difference between a flat, boring background and a fully realized three-dimensional world! By adding elements into the Foreground, Midground, and Background of your image, you'll begin to add depth. It's easy to say, but how hard is it to achieve? You can use this simple three-step recipe to add DEPTH to any Environments Landscapes + Fog + Cloud Cards = Depth 1) Landscapes - If your environment isn't BIG enough, you can't create depth! Having mountains and landscapes of different sizes is the perfect start. Pro-tip: If you're creating an interior, find ways to add windows or additional rooms outside to imply an extra BACKGROUND layer! 2) Fog - Use Volumetric Fog to separate your environment. Hello! New Dark Fantasy Exploration during a long night... I created the whole environment using Medieval Fantasy Ruins pack from Scans Factory (These guys are doing top quality stuff and are super nice people). I tweaked some materials to adjust to my looking and lighting. Then i have done all the lighting. Skybox is from Velarion Chaotic Skies, which i also tweaked. I have used Lumen for general lighting and also added local fog. PPV and some tome mapping inside Unreal. Render settings and also applied Aces to do the final touches inside Davinci Resolve. I just wanted to get a quick render practicing level art and lighting, maybe will try that one as animated screen saver for my computer :) Thanks for watch it and maybe support me in these difficult moments for all artists! Hopf’s fibration also called a fiber bundle. A fascinating topic within differential topology. It’s describes a 3-sphere in terms of circles and a ordinary sphere. Probably the most amount of vex I had ever written but well worth the explorative journey. Would’ve loved to explore the aesthetic and creative uses of this concept more, however given current responsibilities, I’ll leave it with this quick little animation I rendered out.
