Senior Planner, Technical Development | Multi-Industry Strategist & Consultant | Technical Innovator | People Developer | Nissan Insider & Ambassador | Change Catalyst
Much like the launch of this Antares rocket that I was privileged to witness, success is a testament to human collaboration, vision, and determination. Just as this long exposure captures the rocket's journey, the path to achieving our goals is often a streak of bright moments punctuated by the dark challenges of the unknown. The details matter - whether it's the mechanics of a rocket launch, or the nuances of a strategy. A close-up look at this awe-inspiring launch is a reminder that understanding intricacies and making informed decisions can make a monumental difference. Despite the darkness around, the rocket illuminates its surroundings, showing us that our efforts and actions can shed light on new possibilities and opportunities. Behind this rocket, just like behind any successful initiative, are numerous individuals - scientists, engineers, technicians, safety inspectors, project managers, data analysts, logistics coordinators, ground crew, mission control operators, and even the janitorial staff who keep the facilities in working order. Similarly, in an automotive dealership service department, for example, there are greeters, lane attendants, advisors, parts specialists, technicians, cleaning crews, managers, directors, owners, vendors, customers - the list goes on. Each person plays a unique role, and it's the synergy of these roles that propels us forward. As a consultant, my role is akin to the engineers behind this launch, working behind the scenes to guide our journey, from the ground to the stars. Whether in aerospace, automotive, or any other industry, the key to success lies in caring for our people, understanding the mission, and recognizing everyone's efforts. Together, we can ensure our initiatives reach new heights. #Strategy #Consulting #RocketLaunch #Teamwork

Flying Spanner jobs: There are many different views on this job and will try to elaborate as we go. A flying spanner is essentially an aircraft engineer who flies with the aircraft and attends to it at remote airports wherever it goes. Essentially most VIP aircraft have their teams of flying spanners, and I think that is why it may sound appealing (the VIP bit), however sometimes as they say, not all that shines is gold. I will try and make two lists, with the pros and cons for VIP Flying spanner jobs and then you can maybe decide if this is for you: Pros: Good money Unlimited travel Nice, exotic lifestyle Part of an elite team Good training prospects Cons: Massive pressure to perform at all times - you are everything (Mechanic, planner, procurement, liaison) Can be a burden on marriage/relationship Most times, your employer or the crew is having the nice exotic lifestyle while you are tending an AOG There are many stories out there of people having done such flights/jobs. Please share yours with us 🙂

Good day fellow Lindekin users; It's friday and I come sharing some information about aviation and flight operations more specifically. The Operational Manual part A (OM-A) treats about generalities and is considered a key manual in terms of aviation business corporate universe giving the fact that upon it; an operator is able to shape and determine exactly the way that its airline should properly function. As a flight operations engineer; you must be keenly aware of how to construct your OM-A. Thankfully the ICAO standards as well as the local aviation authorities define very well how you should proceed in the matter. The OM-A encapsulates many chapters from the company organigram to the details about postholders duties and responsabilities; flight time duties and crew management as well as other aspects related to safety and security and also the way of acquiring aircrafts. That being said; a devoted flight operations engineer must always make sure that the OM-A is well depicted and in accordance to the current standards because it literally represents the sole identity of the airline itself. I hope those little information were useful to you all and I am eager to read your comments or additional information to the matter as well 😉
