My thoughts on #worldenvironmentday

In our twenty years of practice, we have gone through many transitions. As our projects got bigger, so did our impact, making us acutely aware of the immense responsibility that all of us in the building industry carry. We are one world, and one planet. We must act like it and build like it. This #WorldEnvironmentDay, we are renewing our commitment to #NatureIntegratedDesign for creating habitable and sustainable spaces. The spaces we design foster the wellbeing of a project’s end-users, while also minimising environmental impact. While building new structures might seem appealing, the environmental impact of producing new materials and disposing of old ones is significant. Renovating and breathing new life into existing buildings not only reduces the carbon footprint but also preserves their unique character and history.
