There is a lot to be said about working with the best people. It will save you time and money and keep you out of trouble. Kent and I started Yellowcross because we knew the teleradiology industry, but we also know what we don’t know. That’s where our partners at Weiss Brown, Foley & Lardner LLP, 10 to 1 Public Relations, and Fiscal Partners, LLC have helped us build a solid foundation for our company.
Was it cheap? No, but it’s an investment, not an expense. After seeing more than one teleradiology group close, we know why each didn’t survive. They were in denial. They thought they could navigate a new, burgeoning healthcare niche without legal, PR, and financial guidance. When a teleradiology group goes bankrupt, it shuts down abruptly. This leaves hospitals and clinics without coverage with little more than a day’s notice.
So, as we grow and help grow the practices of our new radiologist partners, we will always know to educate ourselves and hire the help we need to get things done right the first time. We owe it to our clients, families, and, most of all, the patients and medical facilities we serve.
