West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce’s Post

🏠🏢 Property Forums are delivering on behalf of our local #business communities. Businesses from West Yorkshire’s #property sector are hearing about the latest developments affecting the sub-region in two key events. West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce has just held a Property Forum event in #Bradford, and is to stage another one in #Leeds next week. The Leeds event – 🕰 from 17:00pm-19:00pm on Tuesday 27 February – will highlight the opportunities for businesses and the city that the property conference UKREiiF brings in May, aswell as showcasing some of the city’s recent #development successes, and the firms behind delivering them. There is also ample #networking opportunities available at the #event, due to be held at Squire Patton Boggs offices in the city. On 20 February, the Bradford audience heard about the latest initiatives to meet the #netzero and #decarbonisation challenges, while one of the District’s great ambassadors talked about the exciting times ahead. Former Council Chief Executive Kersten England CBE spoke about her role in helping deliver ‘Bradford 2025: City of Culture’, while Dr. Stewart Davies passed on information about Bradford’s #Sustainable Development Partnership. Mike Cartwright of the Chamber’s #Policy & #Representation team, said: 🗣 “Our Property Forums have proved their value and success over many years now, and that is thanks to the commitment and expertise of our members who put time into this. Aswell as securing excellent speakers who deliver top-class information, the Forums are a key part of our lobbying and representation work that lets decision-makers and policy-makers know the views of the business community, and how best to deliver measures that can help local businesses thrive.” To hear the latest updates within the #Leeds area, book onto our next Property & Economic Forum which is fast approaching (set to take place next week), more details here: https://lnkd.in/eca_HED2
