📣 Last weeks to secure your spot in our Demo Day from Clean Cities ClimAccelerator!!   🎤 In our fourth year, we're excited to showcase a cohort of eight innovative technological startups, each of them offering different climate solutions.   Some key details about the event: ☑️ What is the Demo Day? The Demo Day marks the culmination of an eight months programme, developed in partnership with Climate-KIC. Over this period, founders have navigated the challenges of launching and scaling a sustainable business with the help of expert-led workshops, events and networking. ☑️ Who will be there? It will feature pitches from the eight startups pioneering sustainable innovations, followed by a closed-door networking session where you'll have the chance to meet the founders, as well as other leaders in sustainability. ☑️ When and where? The Demo Day will take place on 28th November at the Madrid Innovation Lab. We will start with an interesting online talk by Catalina Valentino 🔥 followed by the startups pitches. Not to mention the impressive EnteroBiotix in Edinburgh commanding a huge raise last month to help the world with one of the most talked-about health issues at the moment - the gut microbiome. 🔹 Belfast continues to build on its success, securing significant investments and nurturing a thriving technology scene. 🌟 Celebrating my Anniversary as an Entrepreneur 🚀 💼 One year ago, I made the leap from corporate innovation to the exhilarating world of entrepreneurship. What started as an idea nurtured on a university bench at Politecnico di Milano has grown into my full-time passion, transforming sustainable actions into tangible benefits for people through HexErgy. 🌐 Reflecting on this journey, I recently had the incredible opportunity to present HexErgy’s impact at the #MSMEDay during the Geneva & Fribourg Entrepreneurship Forum with the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) at the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). It's humbling to see how our initiative aimed at promoting renewable energy communities in Italy, Netherlands, and Latin America has evolved into a comprehensive solution, fostering their adoption. It's even more remarkable to have a platform to share our experience, motivations, and challenges on the same stage that defined the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which inspired me to designed the HexErgy’s logo. 🤝This journey has taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of innovation. I am very grateful with my former innovation colleagues Michele Rossi and Giulia Minghetti, and now with my partners in crime Luca Di Narzo, Fleur Engelberts, Kauan Von Novack and Rik Bhattacharya, MBA with whom I celebrate all these achievements. 🎉 We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the FOURTH edition of the Clean Cities Spain #ClimAccelerator, led by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and supported by EIT Climate-KIC. Over the course of seven months, 12 start-ups received specialised training in business, sustainability, and impact skills. These innovative companies also had the chance to expand their networks, forging valuable connections with investors, mentors, and industry experts. The programme culminated in a Demo Day at the Madrid Innovation Lab, where these start-ups showcased their solutions for making urban spaces more climate-resilient. When I started SoilTronix, I dreamed of revolutionizing agriculture through robotic solutions. But 2024 showed me that innovation isn't just about technology - it's about understanding the human stories behind every hectare of soil. From being honored with the Premio Estatal de la Juventud to representing Mexico in international programs like Puentes de Talento Madrid, this year was a whirlwind of growth. Each opportunity wasn't just a personal milestone, but a chance to amplify the potential of agricultural technology to create real, sustainable change. Some highlights that truly moved the needle: Judging the World Robot Olympiad, I saw the incredible potential of the next generation of innovators. Collaborating with CANLAB reminded me that technology's true power lies in its ability to solve human challenges.
