Get ready for a long one, but it's worth the read: One year ago, I stepped into my first networking meeting with Success Champion Networking and was immediately drawn in by the warmth, camaraderie, and infectious energy of the Kingston chapter "Strange Brewers"' event. Little did I know, this was the start of an incredible journey. Shortly after that meeting, I sat down with Donnie Boivin. I was new to the business world and feeling a bit out of my depth. But Donnie's words stuck with me: "Being new can be a good thing. When you're new, you can break stuff." This perspective has fueled my approach to business ever since, encouraging me to think outside the box. Since joining SCN, my business has transformed from an uncertain path to a journey of consistent growth and potential. I've had the privilege of co-launching a second Canadian chapter with Gerry Lalonde, CPA, CGA, and I now serve as Vice President of Team Canada, a brand new national chapter. Watching SCN thrive as Donnie's executive assistant has been nothing short of inspiring. As I celebrate my one-year anniversary with SCN, I'm filled with gratitude for the friends I've made, the lessons I've learned, and the growth I've experienced. SCN has completely changed the trajectory of my business, pushing me from small-time thinking to embracing big-time growth and the development of a sustainable, successful enterprise. If you're a small business owner looking for a community that genuinely champions your growth, you need to connect with Success Champion Networking (SCN). I kind of snuck in through the back door, but this community is geared towards helping serious businesses break through to new levels. Don't just take my word for it—come see for yourself! Here's to breaking things, thinking big, and the power of a great network.

Thanks to Jason McKinley, CEO of Arc Technologies Group, for sharing your advice! As a community, Wichita needs to "lean in"! How can we lean in and do more? Here are 5 things you can do to lean in and contribute to the Wichita community: 1. Find what you are passionate about and take action on it. 2. Provide a solution to a need our community has been asking for. 3. Take the first step. Start with something easy. 4. Connect with your community. Go where the people are. 5. Be a part of something greater than yourself. All it takes for us to lean in is to start where we are best fit to lead. All you have to do is start discovering where you are called to lead. We encourage you to take one small action today to start leaning into your community! If you need help, visit https://lnkd.in/ea9Qm8SU to find a community that will help get you to where you want to go. Be the example that you want to see in the world today! Lean in!
“There’s an opportunity for everyone to lean in a little bit more.” We are partnering with Carl Bowden, MBA with eXemplify to highlight people in the Wichita community, if you see us at your next networking event, come say hello!

Kindness at Work 💫 Just had an inspiring virtual coffee chat with fellow Blanchard coaches from across the globe, exploring how leaders can cultivate kindness in the workplace. We spend most of our waking hours at work. What if this time was filled with kindness and compassion? What if we were the ones who could spark this transformation? The ripple effects would be extraordinary. Kindness can be wonderfully simple: 🌱Taking a moment to say "thank you" 🌱Acknowledging someone's effort or progress 🌱Being present to truly listen and notice The beautiful thing about kindness? It starts with each one of us making small, intentional choices every day. Grateful for this enriching conversation with our global coaching community. Together, we're reshaping workplace culture, one kind act at a time. Valarie White, Jeff Parks, Karla Oard, Amy L. Dinning, Alex Von Keitz, Rona Delaney, Meredith Godat, O.D., PhD, and Simon Hogg #LeadershipDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #Kindness #BlanchardCoaching #ProfessionalDevelopment"

I’m going to do some breakfast networking outside my comfort zone.. Who’d like to join me? On Friday 26th July 6:30am - 9:00am Brisbane City, the Christian Business Network (hosted by Colin Lee) has Daniel Flynn (ThankYou Co-Founder and Managing Director) speaking. For anyone who knows the ThankYou story or has heard Daniel speak, it’s awe inspiring. Even though it’s an amazing opportunity to also connect with fellow professionals, I quickly came up with a list of reasons not to attend: ... I’m not Christian ... 6:30 start is very early start ... the morning will be dark and cold ... how will I get there ... I’ll barely know anyone …... and the list goes on. I’ve found those who are really successful can flip these doubts to a positive outcome: Yes! It starts early, I’ll have the rest of my day ahead Yes! I’ll meet new people who want to grow their business and connections Yes! I’ll learn and be inspired by Daniel Flynn’s achievements and speech So I’ve switched the doubts out for a more positive outlook and bought a ticket. It will be my first CBN event, however not my first time with Colin Lee who has shown so many business owners his generosity. If you’re interested in attending you can book your ticket here: https://lnkd.in/g5cA7Kv2 Those who attend, reach out so we discuss business, data and profitability after the event. #BusinessNetworking #BrisbaneBusiness #ThankYou #ChristianBusinessNetwork

Building strong in-person connections is more important than ever. Last week The Advance held an amazing event in Boca Raton, Florida alongside our Legacy Leaders. The event was filled with lively conversations Unique experiences Eight and nine-figure CEO presentations Strong connection building and so much more So many things are uncertain right now, especially in business. If you want to grow your business to the next level and build a foundation that will last, you need to build your network. What does having a strong network look like? → It’s having like-minded people that support and elevate your new ideas → It’s having someone who has been through what you are going through and can help you navigate it → It’s knowing that when things get rocky and the economy is at a low, you still have people who support you and understand what you are going through. → It’s being with people you genuinely like and want to spend time with who interest you. And there is so much more that a solid community can bring you… if you put in the time and effort to build these relationships. Our Boca Raton trip is not the only one we will be hosting, in fact, this is just the beginning.
