The experiences and clarifying questions generated from those experiences, however, help to inform others and will continue through this interactive session. https://bit.ly/4bkONCn Join us on May 7 for this AGB exclusive webinar, where the authors of AGB’s latest report, “Diversifying the Governing Board” will discuss their findings and insights. Building on our 2021 survey “Practices, Policies, and Composition of Governing Boards of Colleges, Universities, and Institutionally Related Foundations,” this session explores the advancements and strategies in diversifying the composition of governing boards. At my College’s Planning Council last week, I presented key take-aways from the updated Middle States (MSCHE) accreditation standards and processes. In short, Periodic/Mid-Point Reviews are GONE and Guiding Principles were added to help structure an institution’s approach in creating its Self-Study. Higher Education institutions must respond with how it approaches diversity in all forms, and how it uses data to support all students with their goals. For my higher education brethren in the Middle States service area, what was your biggest take-away from the new 14th edition of the Standards?

Looking forward to continued work with Liz McMillen and Simmi Bhuller and to gaining sector-level insights from Marjorie Hass and Mark Becker. #highered #agb #transformingcollege
