Onboarding and induction… For an L&D person, this topic is monumental. For 25 years now, it’s one of two topics (the other being leadership development) that I just can’t shake. My two cents from today class discussions: I found that when an organization is struggling to coordinate their workforces, this is mainly due to their lack of understanding on what HRM really is and their significance to the organization. It is important to note that, HRM is responsible in cultivating the company's culture and this culture influence the effectiveness of their human resources performance. A bad company culture is a result of bad HRM practises. A bad HRM practises can always be attributed to the company's leadership.

Accountability is a crucial element in any successful organization. When employees take ownership of their actions, projects, and outcomes, it creates a culture of responsibility that not only enhances individual performance but also contributes to the overall success of the company.
