Did you know that the largest contributor to the carbon foot print of wine is the glass manufacturing, packaging and transport? When we found out in 2020 we set out a path to re-desing an alternative to the round heavy bottles - a lightweight eco glass bottle, which combines lux aesthetics with eco friendly attributes. Excited to share the innovative packaging design for @NEOTEMPO wines! Our team identified the biggest contributor to the carbon footprint of wine and set out to make a change. After 18 months of 3D printing and testing, we created a lightweight, structurally strong design that optimizes high-density packing. Our patent pending design is manufactured by ESTAL to use wild glass 100% post consumer recycled glass. Our designed has shown dramatic cost savings in shipping, transport and storage because less weight and higher density equals less carbon and costs.
