One sentence that I remember very well from this discussion is "Sustainable development, when implemented without careful consideration and adherence to ecological principles, has the potential to inadvertently harm the entire ecosystem." Projects that aren't managed well might mess with nature's balance, harm different plants and animals, and use up Earth's resources too much. We really need to check how projects affect the environment and use methods that protect and bring back nature, so we don't damage the planet's health and strength.
