Bike rentals are so last Tuesday! 😅 The team told me about this incredible concept hotel in Paris, who have been pushing our technology to the limits. They found a way to truly differentiate themselves... and in the process drive way more revenue. Meet the Hotel Paradiso in Paris! 🇫🇷 They offer cinema suites and a karaoke room. Instantly bookable from their website. They sell their karaoke room for 2 hours, and are yielding each time slot differently based on the demand they are seeing. I absolutely love it. 😻 Most hotels have a couple of spaces in the building that have a difficult layout, possibly in the basement without daylight. Rather than turning these spaces into a closet, why not a karaoke or cinema room? Every space should matter in driving the business forward. How is this making a difference at Hotel Paradiso? 1️⃣ They offer services on their own website, that the OTA's are not able to offer, driving customers to book direct. Also if guests book more services directly on the hotel website, the average revenue per guest that books directly increases (so less commissions) 2️⃣ They turned a non-revenue-generating space into a new income source. 3️⃣ They revenue manage the space, similar to a hotel room, based on demand, making more money in the late night, than the early afternoon. 4️⃣ Their online reviews have people talking about these great experiences, making them stand out further, driving even more direct bookings. Pro-tip: you can incorporate QR codes for ordering Food&Beverage, so you don't have to have a waiter on stand-by all the time.
