I was a lazy fellow during my college days. 😂
Most of the time, I would sit in the college canteen and drink tea. While everyone was addicted to something, I was addicted to tea.
I would just roam around and get scolded by professors.
Many of my friends would ask, "Why do you even come to college, man? Do something useful."
So, a year and a semester passed like that.
In the last semester, I did an internship and had to present a paper at a national conference in my college.
It was the one thing I prepared well during my MBA.
And the exciting part is,
My professor appreciated that I gave a good presentation and handled the questions well and gave justification for each question.
It was the only appreciation I received in college from a professor who didn't like me much.
Yes, it was an achievement for me, and I was flying in my imaginary world. 😜
I had a thought in my mind that I wanted to do something, but I didn’t know what.
My two years of MBA felt like two months. 😂
After that, I attended a few interviews but didn’t get selected. In the last interview, I was directly rejected by the VP of a company in a polite way.
That’s when I realized I lacked the necessary skills.
I then joined a 3-month internship at CrunchOps (Specialties: devops, cloud computing, kubernetes, cicd, Digital marketing, IaC, Terraform, Amazon Web Services, Cloud Hosting, and Containers)
The founder(Bibin Wilson) , taught me the current skills and trends in Digital Marketing, and I started learning and applying them practically.
Later, I joined the company as a full-time employee, and I’m still working there.
I haven’t improved a lot, but I’ve improved a little compared to my college days and improving 1% daily
In college, the same friends who asked me to do something, are now appreciating my efforts.
And the best part is, they’re asking doubts to me. 😆
Some of them are still encouraging and supporting me in learning more and upgrading my skills.
I’m learning from them too, and we share knowledge with each other.
I’m grateful for who I’m today.🌟
