#BreakingTheCycle is imperative in our efforts to combat malnutrition in women and children. Introducing communities to #DietDiversity is a small effort, supported by Tata Trusts, that can lead to a big impact. One such change began when Gousia, a lactating mother from Velvadam, began cultivating a nutri-garden to improve her family's health. In the process, she inspired the entire village to join. Aided by the Vijayavahini Charitable Foundation, they learned new techniques to cultivate nutrition-rich fruits and vegetables in their nutri-gardens. What started in a small patch of land grew into a large initiative. This cycle of good nutrition started with Gousia and the Vijayavahini Charitable Foundation, with critical support from Tata Trusts, empowered a whole community with an understanding of the importance of a diverse diet and how it could be practiced.
