The Immerisfy clinical skills educational content, currently under development, includes key skills such as urinary catheterization. Later this year the education content will be released, allowing students and staff to learn and practice this essential nursing skill. As a key nursing skill, students and staff can acquire and update their knowledge of the skill of male and female catheterization, including the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system, equipment, and legal considerations. This approach to learning supports the modern student by delivering engaging, interactive learning activities. The use of augmented reality and gamification enables students and staff to engage in 3 different experiences- catheter equipment spotter, male catheterization spotter, and, female catheterization spotter.
