Free Flow Concrete: A type of concrete, which is not a product of mixing substances having different properties but a combination of several mixes having the same flow characteristics. High amount of water reducing substance or super plasticizers is added for obtaining high flowing characteristics. And Concrete Flow Test: Measures how fast and how far a concrete mix will flow on its own. The test is performed by pouring some of the concrete into a cone on a non-porous plate. Once the cone is full, the cone is lifted in a straight vertical line to allow the concrete to flow out (Let us see a Live demo) to understand the trial of M70 Free Flow Concrete. 📑Industry Terminology - Slump When working with concrete, you may have heard the term "Slump" and had no idea what it meant. To put it simply, slump is the firmness of concrete. More technically, it is the "workability" of concrete, determining consistency, ease of placement and how quickly it dries. A slump test is done with a cone, level and ruler to ensure the mix passes quality requirements.
