“Clothes mean nothing until someone lives in them.” — Marc Jacobs. But what if the clothes we wear tell a story of their own, one that hints at our mental state? Have you ever noticed a colleague suddenly dressing differently—maybe opting for oversized, baggy clothes when they usually don’t? It’s easy to brush it off as just a new style, but what if it’s something more? In the workplace, we’re often encouraged to speak up when we’re not okay. But do we notice the subtle signs that someone might be struggling with their mental health? Recently, I found myself gravitating toward clothes that felt more like a shield than a style statement, and it made me wonder—how often do we overlook these subtle signals in ourselves and others? Our choice of clothing is more than just fashion; it’s an expression of our inner state. When someone’s wardrobe shifts dramatically, especially in the workplace, it could be a silent cry for help. Oversized clothes might feel like a protective barrier, a way to hide from the pressures and expectations around us. It’s essential to pay attention to these changes—not just in ourselves but also in our colleagues. A sudden shift in how someone presents themselves could be their way of coping with an unspoken struggle. Instead of dismissing it as a quirky fashion choice, let’s create a culture where we check in with each other more often. After all, mental health doesn’t always scream for attention. Sometimes, it whispers through the smallest details, like the clothes we choose to wear. Let’s be the ones who listen. #MentalHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing #MentalHealthAwareness #EmployeeSupport

Style Your Confidence: Mental Health Awareness Week ✨ This Mental Health Awareness Week, let's talk about the connection between self-expression and emotional well-being! From rocking a bold new colour to feeling polished in a comfy outfit, fashion can be a powerful tool! Feeling good in what you wear is a powerful confidence booster, and that applies to everyone. Whether you're a new mom navigating sleepless nights, going through menopause reclaiming your body, or just a woman who wants to feel amazing - your style is a tool for self-love. Here are some tips for embracing your personal style and feeling confident: New moms: Comfort is key! Look for pieces that are easy to move around in and feed your baby in, but don't forget to add a touch of "you" with a statement necklace or a brightly colored scarf. Embrace vibrant colours and playful patterns that reflect your little one's energy. For the Menopausal Marvels: Embrace breathable fabrics like linen and cotton that help regulate body temperature during hot flashes. Opt for flattering cuts that work with your changing silhouette. Everyone: It's all about owning what makes you feel YOU! Don't be afraid to break the rules, mix and match patterns, or rock that bold colour you love. Remember, feeling good in your own skin is what truly matters! Fashion is a journey, not a destination. It's about self-discovery and expressing yourself authentically. So have fun, embrace your personal style, and let your outfit be a reflection of your inner strength! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #StyleYourSelfLove #OwnYourStyle ✨

Award Winning Personal Stylist - Sustainable Style For Busy Women looking for Style Confidence. Dopamine Dressing | Preloved Fashion | Colour Analysis | Capsule Wardrobe | Personal Shopping
WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 💚 To support World Mental Health Day I want to talk about the connection between what we wear and our mental well being. When I became a mum, I suffered from Post Natal Anxiety and also felt like I’d lost my identity, plus felt a lack of confidence in my new body shape. Style and reconnecting with myself, was one of the most impactful things which helped me. Which is why it’s so important to me to help other women to feel empowered and confident in their own skin. So often there’s such a huge misconception that style and what we wear is such a frivolous and surface level thing. When actually that couldn’t be further from the truth. One of the reasons I chose to become a Personal Stylist, was because I knew the impact I could have on women’s lives, in transforming their confidence and how they feel about themselves from the inside out. If you wear an outfit you’re not happy or comfortable in, it can set the tone for your day in the worst possible way. Equally, there is such power in things like dopamine dressing and wearing what makes you happy. It can have such a positive impact on your mood and the way your day goes! Causing a positive ripple effect in your relationships too. Can you resonate with any of this? Does your clothing impact your mood? I’d love to hear in the comments if you’d be open to sharing…

Anxiety around body image is real For many young women, feeling pressure to look a certain way can create overwhelming anxiety. We’re constantly surrounded by images telling us what “perfect” looks like—whether it’s on social media, in movies, or even in everyday conversations. Women are frequently exposed to unrealistic beauty ideals that emphasize thinness, flawless skin, and certain body proportions, leading to feelings of inadequacy and self-consciousness. But here's the truth: Your worth is NOT tied to your appearance. Every body is unique, beautiful, and deserving of love, no matter the shape, size, or imperfections society tries to label us with. Let’s stop the comparison game and start embracing ourselves for who we are—inside and out. If you’re struggling, remember you’re not alone. Reach out, talk about it, and seek support when you need it. Self-love is the most important kind of love. 💕 #BodyImage #AnxietyAwareness #LoveYourself #YouAreEnough #MentalHealthMatters #BodyPositivity #EmbraceYourBody #SelfLoveJourney #FeminineStrength
