The Brienne of Tarth Loyalty Award! At Whistler Partners, we go beyond just making placements; we prioritize building meaningful connections with our candidates, ensuring their career goals and personal values are aligned. Introducing The Brienne of Tarth Loyalty Award! Our new quarterly recognition award where our recruiters nominate candidates who have demonstrated outstanding 𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲 throughout their legal career and lateral process. Our first recipient for Q1 2024 (chosen randomly!) reflects the trust we aim to build with all our candidates. Throughout his lateral process, despite receiving numerous emails and calls from recruiters, he chooses to rely exclusively on the network and industry reach of Whistler Partners. He forwards each email he receives from other recruiters to Sean Burke and Jordan Rosenberg, asking, 'Do you know what this role could be about?' He does not seek career assistance from other recruiting agencies; instead, he trusts our team's industry expertise, solidifying our role as his sole, committed career agent. In recognition of his loyalty, we have made a $5,000 donation to Citymeals on Wheels, a charity he passionately supports. If you're considering a lateral move, connect with Whistler Partners! Your loyalty to us could put you in the running for the Q2 (or Q3 or Q4!) Brienne of Tarth Loyalty Award and a donation of $5,000 to the charity of your choice. #whistlerpartners #happylawyersclub

🎺 😍 I'm not very good at blowing my own trumpet but I've just had this wonderful testimonial through from a #CEO candidate which has made my day, so i'm coming out of my comfort zone and sharing! 🎺 😍 👀📣I also just wanted to highlight a key point that they've made in how we work that really resonated with them..... At TPP we don't use researchers (unlike a lot of the other search firms) it's just Matt Adams, @emmapatmore and myself on the leadership and governance team, we're the ONLY people you'll have any interaction with from briefing to in-depth search to interviews to offer negotiations. This means whether you're hiring or a candidate looking for your next role we're best placed to support you - we know the sector, job specifics in detail, can share guidance/advice and market insight. Why not book a time in my diary, it would be great to meet you and I can tell you about how we can support you find the right role or right candidate for your charity. https://lnkd.in/e9wm-EnT #ceo #boardrecruitment #trustee #seniormarketing #charity #nonprofit #executiverecruitment

Thrilled by a 5-star review on Recruito! 🌟 There's something incredibly rewarding about receiving recognition for your work. A recent review on Recruito had me brimming with pride. It's in these moments, when a candidate takes the time to express gratitude, that you realise the magnitude of your impact on their career journey. 🚀 Each interaction is more than just a service; it's a partnership. I'm reminded that my role goes beyond the transactional—it's about guiding futures and nurturing aspirations. When candidates no longer need my help, it's a bittersweet victory. While I'll miss our collaboration, it's a testament to their growth and success, which is the ultimate goal. 🎯 As a recruiter, my role is to broaden your horizons and streamline your job search. It's a process I'm passionate about because I believe in the potential within each candidate. Working together, we achieve so much more. Remember, without you, I wouldn't be here doing what I love! 💼 Your career journey is unique, and if you're looking to make that next big leap or just need some friendly advice, know that I'm here for you. Let's make your career dreams a reality. If you have worked with me in the past and would like to leave a review then head over to https://lnkd.in/evSUASpK. We are donating £25 to our chosen charity EDS UK for every new review left so not only are you sharing your experiences but helping us raise money for a worthy cause! #Recruitment #CareerGrowth #JobSearchSuccess

👉How to minimise candidate dropouts in recruitment We're seeing an increase in charities contacting us following failed rounds of recruitment and the main reason is due to candidates dropping out of their processes. With there being a huge variety of reasons candidates leave a recruitment process it can be a hard issue to resolve. Here’s our top 5 tips to minimise candidate dropouts 1. Plan the right timescales and advertise these from the beginning 2. If setting tasks or presentations make sure they are relevant to the job and take a reasonable amount of time 3. Keep candidate engagement high with real-time updates and feedback 4. Make sure that the advertised job description matches what you’re looking for at interview 5. Ask for candidate feedback at each stage And remember…..the candidate is interviewing you and your job as much as you’re interviewing them! 👉Please get in touch if you’d like to hear more of our top tips or help with recruitment/job searching in the not for profit sectors. #charity #fundraising #marketingrecruitment The Talent Set

Executive search projects start with an in depth briefing meeting with the recruitment panel. At this meeting we gain an understanding of the organisation, the role and the essential and desirable experience. We discuss the job description and person specification and create the project timetable. Following the briefing meeting we create a market map of potential candidates, which we share with the recruitment panel for feedback. We also create a detailed and engaging microsite for candidates to explore the organisation and the role. Once all this is in place and signed off, we go live with the search. DM me for a confidential discussion about your #Trustee or #Executive search. #Charity #ExecutiveSearch #Trustee #ChiefExecutive #Director

I post charity recruitment tips & reflections at 8am Monday - Friday 💡Helping charities and churches find remarkable employees 🤝 Trustee of Our Street Our Children 🌏 Coffee Purist ☕
I once turned down a job offer that seemed like a perfect fit The organisation made two mistakes that I know some other #charities make to: 👎 They #faffed about 👎 They were not transparent in their #communications Here's what happened: I was approached for a role that matched my skills and experience The interviews went very well and I felt confident But then came the silence A week later I followed up, yet no response 🤷♂️ Days turned into weeks and I assumed I had been unsuccessful I therefore started applying elsewhere A #charity invited me for an interview Then two days later that charity offered me the role which I accepted - whoop! 🙌 However, two days after that the initial organisation got in touch At this point it has been over #30days since my interview The conversation went a bit like this: Them: "We are very sorry for the delay, there were a few things we needed to sort out. We however, would love to offer you the role!" Me: "Thanks for the offer, however, as I hadn't heard anything I assumed I didn't get the role and have just been offered a position elsewhere." They seemed shocked! They even tried to convince me to take their role instead I however declined as I had already given my word elsewhere The lack of transparent communication and faffing about meant this organisation wasted 3 months of time and resources They then had to restart the recruitment process from scratch! Let's strive for #efficiency and avoid unnecessary delays in our recruitment campaigns! If your recruitment process is experiencing delays then be #honest and #transparent with your candidates It's the respectful thing to do and increases the likelihood of your campaigns success 🎉 Have you ever turned down a #joboffer? If so, why? #charityjobs #candidateexperience #stopfaffing

As a recruiter in the charities and not-for-profit division I want to turn the spotlight THE INTERVIEWERS! Are you ready for the task of finding the next superstar for your organisation? Here are a few key questions to ask yourself: 1️⃣ Do I Know the Role Inside Out? Ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the position you're hiring for. The better you know the role, the more effectively you can assess if a candidate is the right fit. 2️⃣ Am I Cultivating an Inclusive Environment? Diversity is a strength. Create an interview atmosphere where candidates feel comfortable and valued, regardless of their background 3️⃣ Have I Updated My Interview Techniques? Stay current with effective interview methods. Tailor your questions to assess both skills and cultural alignment - we can help you with this! 4️⃣ Am I Offering Clear Insights into Our Mission? Candidates are not just looking for jobs; they're seeking a meaningful purpose. Share examples of the impact your organisation has on the community If you have any tips to share or questions about the hiring process in the charities and not-for-profit sector, feel free to drop a comment or connect with me directly. #Recruitment #NotForProfit #Charities #Interviewing #HiringTips #MakeADifference
