10 reasons we're sticking to hybrid working... Some companies are making a permanent return to the office - here’s why we’re staying flexible at our HQ (sadly it’s not very practical for our shop and distribution centre teams): 1. We trust teams to make the right decisions about how to spend their time 2. It seems to work pretty well… In fact, we’ve never been more efficient or creative 3. One size doesn’t fit all - some need more time to focus with headphones in at home, while others need to be designing clothes together in-person 4. We love the collaboration that comes from face-to-face conversations in our office 5. … and we’re all a bit more blue-sky-thinking and glass-half-full when we don’t see our (very lovely and talented) colleagues more than our partner, kids, etc 6. Nothing beats being able to be close to your family 7. Travelling less to the office saves time, money and CO2 8. Tube and train strikes (enough said really) 9. We’re a dog-friendly office, so you can have the best of both worlds (unless you’re a cat person) 10. It’s what most people say they want… both current HQ employees and prospective candidates keep telling us they really, really value flexibility We say fair enough. So flexible working is here to stay.
You get so much more out of your team as they have a better work life balance. Bravo to you 👍🏻
As a former employee, it's so great to see these initiatives for your HQ staff. What a shame you're expecting your store sales staff to work on New Year's Day...
A very pragmatic approach ... Well said. I wish other companies were this grown up about it
Love this and love your offices (I work on your site too). Your people have the best of both worlds!
This is great! Love how its based on individual needs and how people work best as opposed to a one size fits all approach 👍
Great Post - Promoting hybrid working as not only an option but as a solution! Improving the creativity and efficiency of your team.
Well said I need to start with white stuff
Well said! That creates a balance in lives that wasn't there before.
