2024 is the year of partnerships! Let's continue with our trusted partners, the engineers! Engineers play an important role on every project but they are not often not the ones managing the client, budget, schedule and milestones. #mechanicalengineer #electricalengineer #plumbingengineer #structuralengineer #acousticalengineer #fireprotectionengineer #firealarmegineer #civilengineer - An Engineer might recommend an Owner’s Rep if they want to outsource project management tasks to an external group. - An Engineer might engage an Owner’s Rep if they can see that their client is busy and needs help. - An owner’s rep always reciprocates the relationship by bringing in and hiring the Engineer's at the right time. Engineers are a referral partner, and we hope that we make their job a little easier in the process! #commercialconstruction #ownersrepresentative #projectmanagement #engineers #helpinggoodpeople #moveprojectsforward

Looking back at my first project, I can't help but reflect on how much it shaped my journey as an aspiring engineer. The project? Creating a Bill of Quantity (BoQ) for an HVAC and piping project. At the time, I had little to no prior experience with such tasks, but I was determined to get the task done. My task involved sourcing prices for materials, a process that demanded attention to detail, constant communication with vendors, and staying organized to ensure every item fit within the budget. What seemed simple at first became a week-long assignment. ✨ What I Learned: ✅ Time Management Matters: With so much ground to cover, I realized the importance of breaking down tasks into manageable segments. ✅ Negotiation Skills Are Key: Interacting with vendors taught me how to ask the right questions and negotiate effectively. ✅ Accuracy is Everything: In a BoQ, every number counts, and double-checking became my golden rule. ✅ There's Always Room for Improvement: I later discovered additional elements to include, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning. This project sparked my passion for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering. It was the first step toward the person I am becoming today. What was your first project, and how did it impact your journey? I would love to hear your experiences! 😊 #EngineeringJourney #HVAC #MEP #CareerGrowth #LearningNeverStops

why plants should develop long term relationships with small consultant don't treat electrical detailed engineering as any other contract. hiring either lowest bidder or big consultant will not help in long run they will come finsh the job and go. engage long term relationships with a small engineering firm they will slowly develop an understanding of your plant and it will help in better maintenance and operation. they will understand your problem they will be there when you actually want
