We're onto something big... At Crüe Club, we have something truly special. Our focus on genuine connections and knowledge sharing sets us apart. The round table discussions at our events are like "MBA-level conversations" and high-quality conference discussions—but with one key difference: you're an active participant, not just a number in the crowd. Yesterday, Omar Elizondo led an informative and vulnerable discussion at our Oklahoma City luncheon. The topic was "Intention and Attitude in a Consolidated Market." It was an engaging session that highlighted the importance of our networks, from job hunting to deal-making, how our actions impact others, leadership and personal accountability, and the value of intentionality in our time and contributions. E&P Operators: If you're not building your networks now, you may feel lost about where to start. Crue Club can help you plug into the discussions that are driving the industry. Head to our website to register to begin to join the discussions. OFS/Tech Companies: LIMITED membership is open! For a monthly subscription, you and your team can access our exclusive events, where you can connect and engage in uninterrupted industry conversations around the table. Connect with JP Warren to learn more. By the Numbers: - 1127 E&P Operators - 204 E&P Companies - 44% VP or above Don't miss out on unparalleled conversations and connections that can transform your career and business.

Unveiling the Path to Tragedy: Richard’s Final Moments at Kilts and Kente In light of Lewis Carroll, CBAP®, AAC®, CPOA®’s unhelpful analysis, I wanted to explore the critical moments leading to Richard’s tragic heart attack at Kilts and Kente, which shed's more light on broader systemic issues within our organization. Captured in various videos, Richard’s last known movements include his time spent in the library—a place where he shaped strategic decisions that significantly influenced our project's fate. https://lnkd.in/ePS_sv7u Prior to his demise, Richard navigated a complex web of stakeholder demands and team dynamics. Notably, he engaged in a heated discussion with my Business Analyst about evolving project requirements that were not clearly communicated. This was followed by a stern confrontation with my CIO concerning technological expansions that threatened to push our project scope beyond its original limits. His final interaction occurred in the Dining Hall, during a tense exchange with the Product Owner about aligning the product’s direction with stakeholder expectations—a conversation that evidently did not end well. Each interaction progressively layered stress upon Richard, culminating in his overwhelming isolation and decision-making pressure, ultimately leading to his heart attack. This tragic end underscores not merely individual mistakes but a collective failure to maintain a supportive and transparent project environment. Each room and each stakeholder interaction played a significant role in heightening the tension. How can we, as Business Analysts, learn from this? How do we ensure that our roles not only meet but support each other in balancing the intricate web of project demands and personal well-being?" Lewis Carroll, CBAP®, AAC®, CPOA® and our fellow #businessanalysts, how do you manage stress and stakeholder expectations effectively. How do we build resilience not just in our projects, but also in ourselves as leaders and collaborators? Looking forward to our Murder Mystery experience at BA & Beyond next week and meeting with IIBA® Brussels Chapter IIBA NL and Filip Hendrickx and Wouter Nieuwenburg #babeyond24 #conference #community #fun #collaboration #problemsolving #friendships

In four minutes, master improvisers, TJ Jagadowski and David Pasquesi, (hilariously) demonstrate the core improv priorities of active listening, patience, and serving the needs of your teammate. There's no rush. No panic. Just trust. Together, they know they will help each other solve "the problem" of their scene. Imagine applying those same concepts the next time you have to facilitate a meeting with a colleague... https://lnkd.in/e6kz_HtJ #yesand #businesscommunication
