Major props to one of the giants of ResProp Management, Angela Aguilar, celebrating her five-year anniversary with our team!  👉 Angela is a standout leader in so many ways. Most importantly, she’s a servant leader – she’s always hyper-attentive to the needs of the teams she leads, and digs in to help them get the work done – never afraid to dive deep and help push things forward. 💥But Angela is also a fierce competitor.  Think about the affect Michael Jordan had on anyone who played on the same court–he elevated everyone’s game. On Michael’s court, you can't just show up and play–you come and give it your ALL. 👉 Same with Angela – when she commits to anything, it instantly motivates the team and suddenly they find a new gear to complete something that was previously unreachable. It’s a pleasure to work with you Angela – it’s been great fun (with a huge dose of HARD WORK) to build out ResProp with you.  Last word here – Angela’s work ethic is unmatched. You literally have to peel her away from her work. This passion is infectious and again, is something that motivates everyone around her. 🦞 Happy World Lobster Day! 🦞 Today holds a special place in my heart and my personal journey. I started the day playing my own character “Lobsy” in the Bubble Ranger game reflecting on how life, like design, is full of transformations. It’s fascinating to think that in the 1770s, lobster was considered a “poor man’s meal,” reserved for prisoners, apprentices, and enslaved people due to its abundance. Later it was “soldiers food” with WW2. Fast forward to today, and it’s now a delicacy, symbolizing luxury and celebration. This shift reminds me that life is all about perspective and change. Just like the evolution of lobster’s status, our own journeys are filled with unexpected turns. We may not always win at everything we desire, but it’s those changes and challenges that help us grow, redefine ourselves, and find new meaning in what we do. Today, I’m celebrating all the Lobsy moments—the small yet significant steps that shape our unique paths. Let’s honor our personal growth and resilience, and embrace the transformations life and design bring, because today is the day of the lobster! This lack of taste is giving the planet a nona-bypass along all the nine planetary boundaries, as the Amazon burns to let the cows graze to feed the world’s growing appetite for their flesh along with economic growth and aspiration of the one human family to converge. Gates wrote a book on climate. Invested in how to mitigate cows passing methane. But his addiction to money and cows remains, undermining both his book and investments. The way to save humanity is not to make rounds of both Norway and Sub Saharan Africa, far far above and far far below the equator, the Great White North and the Great Black South, but walking the talk on global sustainability. WHY IT MATTERS

My title changed today at McGuff Companies... Titles have never been a point for me. I’ve always believed it’s about who you are and the impact you make, not what a title says. I’m just one person working to make a difference, finding solutions, empowering others, and building a sense of team—because, ultimately, our goal is to get a little better each day. Titles feel like fluff and noise to me, and maybe that sounds naive, especially with my name on the front door, but it’s who I am and have been. In the Marine Corps, rank didn’t define respect for me; the person did. We were all in it together, on the same team, working toward a common mission. No one person's contribution is more or less than the next. That’s how I view things here, too. No matter what my title is, I’d still be here every day, leading with the same goals in mind. The biggest reward isn’t the title; it’s the smiles I see when I walk into a room full of teammates. Those smiles—even in the thick of challenges—mean the world to me. It’s because of the hard work, dedication, and resilience of these amazing teams that this title change happened, not because of anything else or that I did. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to my teams both current and past for making this journey worthwhile.
