One of the things we talk about on retreat is about how adopting a mindset of curiosity can transform how we approach both challenges and everyday situations. When we lead with curiosity, we not only gain deeper insights into the circumstances we face but also into our own reactions and emotions. Why curiosity? Enhanced understanding: Curiosity encourages us to ask questions and delve deeper, providing a richer understanding of the situations and people we encounter. Improved adaptability: By being curious, we remain open to new ideas and perspectives, enhancing our ability to adapt to change. Increased empathy: Understanding our own reactions helps us to empathise with others, improving interpersonal relationships and communication. Stimulated growth: Curiosity drives learning and personal growth. It pushes us to explore new paths and consider what we might otherwise overlook. By consistently asking, "Isn't that interesting?" we not only broaden our understanding of the external world but also deepen our self-awareness. One of the conversations we often have on our retreats is about the power of adopting a mindset of curiosity. It's incredible how shifting your perspective to one of curiosity can change the way you approach challenges and everyday situations. When we lead with curiosity, we open ourselves up to deeper insights—not just into the circumstances we face, but also our reactions and emotions. So, why is curiosity so impactful? When we approach life with curiosity, we're naturally inclined to ask more questions and explore beyond the surface. This leads to a richer, more nuanced understanding of the situations and people we encounter. It also makes us more adaptable. By staying curious, we remain open to new ideas and perspectives, which enhances our ability to navigate change with ease. Curiosity also plays a crucial role in fostering empathy. As we become more attuned to our own reactions, we gain a better understanding of others, which improves our relationships and communication. And let's not forget about personal growth—curiosity is a key driver, empowering us to take control of our own journey. It pushes us to explore new paths, learn, and grow in ways we might not have considered before. By consistently asking ourselves, "Isn't that interesting?" we're broadening our understanding of the world around us and deepening our self-awareness. It's a simple mindset shift that can lead to profound changes in how we experience life. 📌 SAVE on this post to return anytime you need a reminder. #SelfAwareness #MindsetShift #Curiosity #DoctorWellbeing #CPDApproved

Redefine your Life and Increase your wellbeing for (Healthcare) Professionals | Positive Psychology MSc student | Personal Growth and Wellbeing coach | Consultant Radiologist | Emotions@work
Curiosity is one of my favourite emotions. 👉🏽 If we introduce curiosity from the start in any (difficult) conversation, we create a space🪐for genuine listening. And that space creates 'permission to be'. While listening genuinely instead of planning our responses or waiting for our turn to 📣 speak, we become truly open to the other person’s perspective. 🧘♀️ By bringing curiosity into our interactions, we make room for authentic communication. 👉🏽 Curiosity helps us to step out of our comfort-zone to explore new perspectives. A new point of view help us to embrace change with an open mind. 👉🏽 Through curiosity we learn and can continually reinvent ourselves, making us more flexible, resilient and self-aware. 👉🏽 In the field of spirituality (which is quite appealing to me), curiosity is the reason we seek deeper truths. It invites us to be open to mysteries (like the human body) and to think about our purpose here. 👉🏽 Curiosity drives every innovation and breakthrough. But that’s a relatively boring reason. Let’s create an environment where curiosity thrives, questions are welcomed, and every day offers new opportunities to learn and grow. What are you curious about today? 🌟 #Curiosity #MedicalProfessionals #ContinuousLearning #GrowthMindset #PersonalGrowth #SpiritualDevelopment #HolisticLiving

#goodmorningtoall #befearless #beunstoppable #beresilient #bethechange #betheimpulse #betheimpact #beachampion #beahero Fear can be a paralyzing force, preventing us from taking risks and exploring new possibilities. But what if we reframed fear as curiosity? Curiosity is a natural human emotion that drives us to learn and grow. By approaching new situations with curiosity instead of fear, we open ourselves up to a world of potential. Here are some prompts to help you reflect on this concept: What are some situations in your life where fear has held you back? Consider things like public speaking, trying a new food, or joining a new club. How could you approach these situations with curiosity instead? For public speaking, you could focus on the curiosity of how you'll connect with the audience. With new food, you could be curious about the flavors and origins. With a new club, you could be curious about the people and activities. What are some of the benefits of approaching life with curiosity? Curiosity can lead to new experiences, knowledge, and connections. It can also help us to be more open-minded and adaptable. By reflecting on these questions, you can start to develop a more curious mindset. This can help you to overcome fear and live a more fulfilling life.

*The Real Rest In Peace* A few days ago, I posed a question on LinkedIn: "Is thinking merely a habitual response to the patterns in our lives?" While many didn't respond, several reached out privately. Most mentioned that it was a deep question Living pressed difficulty in answering it. Reflecting on these conversations and my thoughts, I realized that we all function based on patterns and we think based on our own experiences. I’m not suggesting this is right or wrong; I’m merely analyzing how we operate and how our thinking occurs. Much of our thought processes are habitual responses shaped by our experiences. If we lack experiences, do we have thoughts? Even young children respond based on their limited experiences and habits IMO. We often resist breaking these patterns because doing so can unsettle us, pushing us beyond our comfort because these thoughts will challenge our experineces and facts. While we often equate knowledge with facts, many innovations have emerged not from factual inquiries but from imaginative questions—like "Can humans fly like birds?" or "Can we control machines with just our voices?" This type of thinking requires deep introspection and awareness of both our internal and external worlds. It demands thorough root cause analysis to address our needs and challenges. But even here the thoughts further beyond this question are based on motives, experiences and facts. I believe we have a long way to go before we can think without motives—without personal, social, or intentional biases. Consider, for example, simply observing and admiring the beauty of nature without any ulterior motive—neither for self-care, stress relief, problem-solving, nor environmental concern. What kind of thoughts might arise in such a mindful, motive-free state? I think that's where we get "Peaceful thoughts" - Where no thoughts will disturb our mind, it will flow simply without disturbing us at any kind. If we can attain that before end of our life, that is real Rest in Peace 💐 Note : Will write about "Art of Thinking" in Child Development Soon 👍🏻 Not covered here 👍🏻 #Thinktanks #Thinking #Metathinking #Meditation #Thinkdeep #Thinkingideas #Awarenesspost #Awareness #Coaching #Mindfulness #Training #Meditate #Linkedintrends #Artofquestioning #Questions #Wellbeing #Life #Living #RIP

Since leaving government service last year, I took a deep dive into personal growth and development, which included having a lot more fun. This led me to getting certified as an Immersive Meditation Facilitator. If you’re asking yourself, what does that mean? I get it, I had the same reaction. It’s really a fancy way of saying that I help people reconnect to their inner wisdom, truths, and intuition. So often we think the answers are outside of us, when really we’ve always had them. We’ve just let conditioning, fear, or the morals and/or opinions of others get in the way. The good news is you didn’t lose it, it’s just buried a bit. And it’s so exited for you to uncover it and let it be your compass for life choices big and small. I’d love to support your journey if you’re feeling lost like I was. If you’re feeling like you’re living someone else’s life, or you know what you need to do, but it’s scaring the crap out of you. I’ll be leading a virtual, group program starting on July 10th at 7p ET or happy to work with you 1:1. Just comment below or send me a message to get more info. You can also follow me on instagram: @MollyMagarik

We live in a world that moves at breakneck speed. We’re constantly bombarded with information, opinions, and noise, all pulling us in different directions. And yet, amidst this chaos, one question quietly lingers: What is my purpose? Purpose isn’t found in the noise—it’s found in the silence between. It’s discovered in the quiet moments of reflection, when you stop running from task to task and ask yourself, “What truly matters to me?” Purpose isn’t handed to you; it’s something you craft, over time, through the choices you make and the passions you pursue. In a world that demands so much from you, don’t forget to listen to the whispers of your own heart.

Elemental Leadership® | Emotional & Spiritual Intelligence | Transform Beliefs | Entrepreneur in Residence at LUMS | Course Manager at the Coaching Academy.
I don't generally believe in coincidences. Unless you are having quiche for lunch, that is the sort of coincidence that can occur which does not hold much significance! I hope it's tasty though! :D For the most part, I have come to understand that pretty much everything that happens has a deeper purpose & significance to it. There is huge potential for learning, growth & strength building in every day life. Isn't that incredibly EXCITING?! Everything that occurs (situations, relationships, interactions, thoughts, feelings, nature, surprises, challenges) can be interpreted as an opportunity for self-development. After all, YOU are the greatest project that you will have in this life! Doing the work on ourselves impacts everything else in our world. Life's occurrences are a reflection of a belief we hold about ourselves, other people & the universe at large. It's not always obvious to see, you have to develop an insatiable level of curiosity about yourself to do this well. This is actually very helpful strategy for people who overthink! It requires detachment, the skill of self-observation WITHOUT JUDGEMENT- cue the Higher Self (a key component within Elemental Leadership®). Begin to change your beliefs, & you will open new doors of possibility! You can transform your life. Beliefs exist at three levels of the mind. 1) Conscious Level: A belief that we are aware of but not necessarily doing anything about. 2) Subconscious Level: A belief we haven't fully understood yet, but we recognise something is driving certain behaviour, feelings or thoughts & we notice a pattern of reaction. 3) Unconscious Level: A belief we are oblivious to. We may not even relate to the possibility of it, it is very common for us to feel entirely disconnected from it but sometimes to recognise it in others. I am fascinated by human potential & the extraordinary capacity we have for change & transformation. Generally we are using a fraction of the potential we have within our whole mind (typically we can be left brain dominant in the Western world). We cannot control the external, but when we work closely with the internal, incredible things can transpire! May you be CURIOUS & NON-JUDGEMENTAL today! :) Contact me if you are curious about this work. #mindmastery #curiosity #selfawareness
