The #energy transition will require dizzying volumes of #copper to be mined over the next decade - a lot more than what the world is currently producing. Africa’s copper mines will churn out a large chunk of that copper. One of our assignments during the 2022 and 2023 WhyAfrica Road Trips was to find out where most of Africa’s production will come from over the next decade. We found many possible sources. In the video is a copper mine on a major expansion drive. It keeps on growing and continues producing the goods. There’s more to come… Are you interested in becoming part of the annual WhyAfrica Road Trip? From next year, WhyAfrica members will get daily updates complete with images and videos of what we do every day during our overland trips through Africa. Where possible, you’ll be able to virtually sit in on our interviews and even ask a question or two. Members get exclusive Road Trips reports about possible opportunities in the countries that we visit and have a say in the routes we should take and possible sites we should visit. As a bonus, we’ll publish three articles about your company on all our platforms.
