🔒 Keep Your Guests and Main Home Network Separate and Secure: The Guest Network feature is often an underutilized feature on almost all home routers. Follow these easy steps to set up a guest network on your home Wi-Fi router! 💻 Step 1: Log in to your router's web interface using a web browser and your router's IP address. 🌐 Step 2: Create a new network in the "Wireless" or "Guest Network" section of your router's settings. Name it "Guest" and set a unique password. 🔧 Step 3: If required, configure advanced network settings like "AP Isolation" to prevent access between guest devices and your main network. You can also set guest network validity period, bandwidth limits, and other restrictions if desired and supported by your Home router. 🔒 Step 4: Secure the network by enabling WPA2 or WPA3 encryption to prevent unauthorized access. 🔐 Step 5: Configure access control to limit device connectivity to the guest network. You can allow specific devices or block certain ones. (Again, if your Home Router Supports it) 📲 Step 6: Test the network by connecting a guest device and ensuring a proper internet connection. By following these steps, you can provide your guests with a secure network while keeping your main network safe. Have you ever set up a guest network at home? Share your experiences below! #networksecurity #hometech #WIFI Check the Easy Guide..

Depending on the manufacturer, the recommended period for router upgrades will vary. For example, Linksys recommends swapping out to a newer router every two years, while CenturyLink mentions you can actually go up to five years. However, it's important to note that how you use it and the number of devices using it can also make a difference. (Baterna)

🟠 Wi-Fi 6E, an extension of Wi-Fi 6, comes with a lot of benefits. Faster speeds, lower latency and more network security are just a few of its features. That’s part of why enterprises are adopting it. In fact, one in three Wi-Fi 6 device shipments are expected to be Wi-Fi 6E in 2025. 🟠 That said, Wi-Fi 6E might not be right-sized for every government agency. Here are some factors agencies should consider before making the transition to Wi-Fi 6E. 1️⃣ Assess Agency Infrastructure’s Compatibility with Wi-Fi 6E. 2️⃣ Run a Cost-Benefit Analysis Before Making the Switch. 3️⃣ Comply with Wi-Fi 6E Regulations.
Three Factors to Consider for a Successful Transition to Wi-Fi 6E
