🍁 Any other companies ready for #Fall? After such a dynamic summer, it might be tempting to think of it as a time to slow down and soak in the last rays of sunshine. But for us, it’s just the beginning. Fall has always felt like a season of fresh starts, maybe even more so than January. Perhaps it’s because we grew up with the rhythm of the school year, where everything was new—shoes, classes, friends, teachers, and even our routines. Though these changes can be uncomfortable, they pave the way for growth. What are you looking forward to this next season? 🍂

As we step into these final days of October, there's something about the briskness of the mornings that brings a sharp reminder of how close we are to the end of the year. It's a time to reflect on everything we've done, the goals we've chased, and, for many of us, the new ideas that have sparked along the way. With just a few weeks left in this quarter, I find myself thinking about how to finish the year with intention and impact. What can we do in these last months to set ourselves, our businesses, or our teams up for a strong start in 2025? How are you planning to make the most of these final days?

We make B2B SaaS companies better at using data. We work with $10mm - $150mm revenue companies to transform their data analytics function into trusted leaders
A few words of caution for senior leaders now that summer is here. Employees might take it easy, but your business will not. Metrics still need to be tracked, goals still need to be hit, and questions still need to be answered. Your data and finance teams will be the ones doing this work, so they need to stay sharp. When others take it easy, things get sloppy... - Warning signs of underperforming metrics get missed - Decisions and changes to the business are made without enough data to back them up - Confusion around what the correct values of metrics are And these teams are the ones who suffer. They deal with some fire drills and late nights. Although these things happen year round, they're more deflating in the summer. By the time the fall arrives, they don't feel refreshed like they should. Or worse...they're thinking about quitting. So now that summer is here, check in with those teams. It's important to make sure they're feeling valued and supported.

Most founders and execs get this one thing wrong. They don’t have a life outside of work. Yeah, this again. But how often do you see these people away from their phone, without a worry about their teams breaking down? That’s more on systems than anything else, to be honest. But in my opinion, it’s not a business if it needs you 24/7 to run. Plus, life's short and really underestimated. Because I understood this early on, here's what my life looks like: • Wake up early. • Have systems between clients and teams that don’t need me. • Spend quality time with my wife every day. • Get the time to share more on LinkedIn (finally haha). • Have daily conversations with founders to scale their businesses. And you can have that too. It’s honestly never too late. Just remember: Your business and life can co-exist if you’re willing to make the effort. P.S: Do you agree?
