🌞 With the weather heating up, Federation Council encourages residents and visitors to be aware and look after yourself, your family and pets by following these tips: 💧 Stay hydrated and drink enough water. 👒 Keep out of the heat, look for shade, wear a hat and try not to be outside during the hottest parts of the day (11am-4pm). 👀 Encourage people to look after themselves and keep an eye out for the young, elderly, neighbours and friends. 🐶 Don’t forget your pets and animals; ensure they have plenty of water and shade. 🆒 Cool your home by closing the blinds in the morning before the sun gets hot. 🚗 Never leave kids, adults or pets in hot cars, as the temperature can increase quickly. 🏣 Council offices and libraries in Corowa, Howlong, Mulwala and Urana are air-conditioned and provide a cooler environment.
